picked up a set yesterday before leaving town. The guy at the counter said the promotion hadn't started yet, but I called ahead and had another guy promise that he'd open them up and get me a set. I had debated on whether to open them or not, so I took the family out to Taco Bell tonight and got a second set. Now I have one set to keep sealed and one set to play. I was very happy with Centipede. I'll be playing the others in a little while...

FYI, Kev of GameRoom magazine tipped me off that the fleece pants and boxer shorts were on clearance prices at Target stores. (web still has them at full price)
I bought the pants for $3.74 and the boxers for $2.48.
Just passing it along for others to grab the deals before they are gone...

I just recieved a Coleco Telstar Arcade, but mine does not have the power brick. I was wondering what do I need to power this system? Wil the brick from an Atari 2600 work on it?
I too would like copies of any instruction sheets/manuals that came with this system.
Thanks in advance for any help from someone who has this info.

all my manuals are gone. They went to someone on another gaming forum, I forgot to post here.

I call all types of people dude, I have never known it to be derogatory. When did it become a flame word? I simply suggested giving it back to her parents. sorry for my "harsh" post...
-
no offense dude, but yeah, something in your story doesn't add up. Also according to your story, it sounds like your parents broke it out and gave it to you because you "claimed" to be interested in it, but now you got your hands on it, it sounds like you want to sell it for top dollar rather than enjoy it. I'd say give it back to your parents and say thanks, or ask them how they would feel if you parted out their stuff.
my 2 cents...

I keep meaning to stop by goodwill and see if I can get an old woodgrain set. My other option is maybe get some woodgrain contact paper (if I can find something close) and give a more modern crt an older look...

Who told you not to post eBay related stuff?I did, if you paid any attention to the sticky threads in this forum, you'd know.
Auction links and subjects belong into the auction forum, I am sick and tired of constantly having to move countless forum posts around.
you're kidding right, really sick and tired of it? Wow....

fantastic job, I'd be lucky to make a intv or mattel label without screwing it up
