  7. yeah it's a cool little system, it just never hit it big in the US... Shame because there are a few good games for it, and the box art is pretty cool too...

  16. What are everyone's thoughts about a .net vs. a .com. Does it really matter any more? I really like Junkanew and .net is available -- .com is not. As I said before its a Bahamian Party so I could have an Islandy flair to the site which always wins people over. JunkAnew.net. you need to go with a dot com. I'm tend to type the name I'm going to and hitting ctrl+enter which fills in the www. & .com for me. I've done it that way for so many years that I don't even think about it. so times if I'm hitting a .edu or .net site, I have to backtrack and fix it if it's not in my drop down list of sites I frequent.

  18. I agree. I really love this game when I have someone I can play against. But since that doesn't happen very often, there are countless other games I usually play instead. By this logic, then Warlords is the crappiest of crap that ever crapped because you need to have 3 other friends and two sets of paddles to truly enjoy this game. Note * I think Warlords is awesome and when friends come over it always gets game play....
  19. It amazes me how much debate on how "crappy" Pac-Man is for the 2600. When I was a kid, I didn't think it was a bad game. I thought it was so "totally awesome" to get to play it at home in my bedroom any time I wanted. To my recollection, no one I knew complained about it either. As a matter of fact, owning Pac-man for the 2600 was a badge of honor, bragging rights even, to our friends who still haven't pestered their parents enough to get their own copy. Sure it wasn't the real deal like the arcade, but in my mind at age 8 and the minds of my peers, it was close enough. We can look back and pick apart every game made back then and say look how badly they are done in comparison with today's standards, or look at the code and figure out mistakes made and what they should have done, hindsight is after all 20/20. When I play them now, I don't analyze them and pick them apart, I just kick back and it's me against my high score. Sure there were some games I didn't care for as much as others, but back then Pac-Man wasn't one of the bad ones.
  20. damn so now wearing gaming shirts is cool and hip... Guess I'm years ahead of my time... Guess it is time to start wearing something else so I'm not like everyone else...
