if it was in the ornament forum, then I'd never have seen it... That's the one disadvantage to too many forums

quick question on these:
What's the output DC voltage amperage and polarity on the power supplies?

What browser are you using Ax?
Is it possible you may have accidentally blocked all images from CTCW?
If you are using FF check Tools --> Options --> Under content tab check to see if "Load images automatically" is checked, then click the exceptions button and make sure anything from CTCW isn't listed..
As for IE I'm sure there's something similar

I got a cheaper shipping rate:
$40.70 - 1 to 6 business days
$107.03 - Guaranteed in 1-3 days
(prices to NC)
looks like i need 8 games out of that and there may be a label variant or 2 I don't have, and the 2 bookshelf cases would be nice to have, but I don't think it's worth $50.69 to me right now....

I can't remember, but can't an item be reported simply for using the someone's image... or copying the text of another auction? I thought that was something that could be done on auctions like these.Yes, but it usually takes eBay around 24 hours to remove an item so I doubt they'll get to it in time. Perhaps if more people report the item..

Ebay finally responded to the report I filed. Yeah I know it's too late now.
Thank you for writing eBay in regard to image and text theft.Thank you for taking the time to contact us with this information. I understand how this situation could be of some concern.
I have reviewed the information that you provided regarding the use of images or text in item number 130255534617, but at this point find that I do not have enough evidence to show that the member has violated any eBay rules.
Regrettably, we will only be able to take action if the owner of the images or text writes to us. In some instances, sellers may have obtained permission to use the material. Therefore, we often cannot remove listings based on the representations of third parties whose credentials we cannot verify.
We do understand the potential for further issues in this type of situation. That is why, if you feel strongly about this issue, we recommend that you contact the owner of the images or text, and recommend that they contact us directly. Once we hear from them, we will take appropriate action.
We appreciate you taking the time to contact us with your concerns.
Thank you participating in the eBay community.
It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing eBay.
Sincerely,
Corie M.

the graphics shown on the box art are too well done... I could see those being NES or SNES, but not Atari

Ian, you are whining too much..
Did the guy pay timely? Then his job is done, leave the feedback...
You would have neged him in a heartbeat had he not paid.
Simple, guy pays, leave feedback, he gets item as described, he leaves feedback. Transaction done. Sellers should quit holding feedback hostage and expect positive feedback....

you know this petty bickering is what's going to keep people going to e-bay and not trying out any new auction services. If the little guys can't pull together when going after a giant, then they've already lost.
I first heard of gamegavel when I was at a NES collectors forum promoting CTCW. No one in that thread saw one as a threat against the other, but more like 2 alternatives to e-bay. I have passed along the information of both sites when suggesting alternatives to e-bay in a few forums I visit.
Perhaps instead of jumping one guy for for promoting a site, causing the owner to get defensive and attack the competition's site, why not figure out a way for both sites to equally maintain their goal of becoming an alternative to e-bay...
