Labels that come off or starting to question.

I was recommended the use of a glue stick on my carts a while back, It seems to be holding up wll.... (These were Apollo carts) -
Thanks for the joysticks. This guy is great to deal with... Shipped was fast. Thanks again dude...

nice, I'll try it on my IPAQ when I get home. It's a good way to keep a list of what you have/need handy, but won't you need a internet connection to view the links?

You know what would be cool.... A portable version of the AtariAge rarity guide that could be used with a pocketPC or palm Pilot or some other portable device. That way when you spot a game, you can look it up in the database to check out screenshots so you can decide if it's worth getting or not...

In my experience, atari stuff is built like tanks

I broke a FB2 controller while playing Vanguard a few months back. -
It can't be a for reals... it's missing both [email protected] and [email protected]@K in the title...

Did the 2600 ever have in-store displays like these?
missioncontrol replied to ComputerSpaceFan's topic in Atari 2600
I'd be interested in measurements for a kiosk for a possible BYO project... Edit: I also can't seem to find many great images floating around on the net -
Do all Atari 7800 games work on an Atari 2600?
missioncontrol replied to Phoenix's topic in Atari 2600
no reason to delete it. Often times there are 7800 carts tossed in with 2600 carts on ebay and someone else might have the same question. -
Do all Atari 7800 games work on an Atari 2600?
missioncontrol replied to Phoenix's topic in Atari 2600
I think it's the other way around. 2600 games work on a 7800. I don't think 7800 will work for a 2600. or at least my 7800 pole position doesn't work with any of my 2600s. -
some have a piece of paper with a date stamped on it taped to the inside (think pre-sticky notes) others you can tell by the first 2 numbers in the serial number for example: My Vader: S.N. TR-83-0409064 was built in 1983 My Tele-Games: S.N. 81-293370 was built in 1981 My Woody: S.N. 81491583 was built in 1981 these 3 serial numbers came off three of my systems that I happened to have opened for cleaning and saw the small paper taped inside with a stamped with the build date. I have seen this also in a few other Ataris that followed the same trend that I had given out to friends hoping they too would catch the Atari collecting bug... I'm not sure if this was always the case or just happened on the ones I have had....

Apollo labels... The only two Apollo games I have had loose labels....

I remember a link to order replacement switches for the 2600, but now I can't find it... can someone help me out with the link?

Well I fixed my Apollo carts using a glue stick and I was happy with the results. Thanks for your input guys......

I have a Williams Space Shuttle and I love it... I voted, Yes you should get one...
-
So some of my labels are falling off the carts. Considering they have been stuck there for over 20 years I guess you got to expect it. What type of adhesive is best? The ones that are comming off are on my Apollo carts. Thanks for your input.

missioncontrol replied to panthroman's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
My transaction went smoothly with him as well. I left feedback in the comment section of his profile. I was very happy with the whole transaction. Thanks again. -
I bought a few games from this fellow AtariAger... The games came as pictured. Shipping was fast, and he had excellent communication thoughout the transaction.
I would not hesitate to do business with him again.
Thanks dude.....

Cool, thanks! Please PM me so I'll have a list altogether of interested parties for when we start this up. I'm sure it will be a month before we get settled in our new place and into our new jobs. I'll start a new thread when the time comes to announce it. PM sent..

Yeah I was going to convert Paul's templates to psd format and take out the combat layers. I think I'll try to tackle River Raid since I didn't see any gradients to deal with.
