  1. Not sure to be honest. I know when you use keyboards in a Kipper riser adapter which uses a PS2 connector they say that a lot of USB ones will work with a USB-->PS2 adapter but only if they support the old PS2 standards so it's possible it's the same for mice plugged in via an adapter to one of the 9 pin ports. Was that adapter specifically listed as an Amiga one as it may be for other machines with 9 pin ports but they could use a different pin out to the Amiga. I would say the older/more basic the mouse the more likely it is to work. The one I have (same as in my link) is a basic Microsoft one. Just looked at the sellers link to just his adapter and he also mentions the PS2 protocol requirements so I would say it has to be your mouse, look for one of the cheap Microsoft ones https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Commodore-Amiga-USB-9-pin-Mouse-Adapter-A500-A600-A1200-A4000-CD32/133497761784?hash=item1f15162ff8:g:iaEAAOSw339ee1wc Here is one on US ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Microsoft-Basic-Optical-Mouse-v2-0-USB/174235472570?hash=item28913e52ba:g:eJMAAOSwh3xegdO0
  2. I have this one for my PAL CD32 and it works perfectly to access the boot menu etc, see if you can find similar or if he will ship to the US. He sells the adapters by themselves as well. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Commodore-Amiga-NEW-Optical-Mouse-ALL-Amiga-Models-CD32-Compatible/133052953889?hash=item1efa92f521:g:Os0AAOSweDFc5FP2
  3. Ah was just thinking out loud and in no way putting the game down. Can you adjust music and sfx volume? Will give it another go soon Thanks
  4. Please tell me this is v4 as I can't remember if I swapped the file over at work as no sd reader at home. 94% sure I did lol Question, whilst the music is good, after an hour less so...is it a mod? Can the Jag SD card be read when a rom has been loaded in and is running or is that not possible? I'm thinking no as it loads the rom and the jag boots it. If you could read it somehow you could let people chuck their own mod files on and skip through them with a joypad button. Both my wrists are ruined now. Time to make a saturn to jag pad converter
  5. I tried it the other night, thought it was a bit easy, missed the bit about putting in advanced mode lol, will try again at weekend!
  6. Seller linked in original post has loads more reproduction listings now including Tempest, AvP, Another World etc, not too clued up but I thought the latter was very limited release and so his ones are very suspect?
  7. Shame Vindicators wasn't released. My local arcade has the 2 player cabinet.
  8. There was a very limited run over a year ago, I got one, the ones now appearing are the renamed GD but still limited supply for now. Not actually played this game yet so nothing to comment on topic lol but will download it to test
  9. Played on SD cart last night thanks!
  10. Works well on Jag SD thanks! Maybe an option to skip the 50 point counting at end of the level by hitting a button? Lovely and smooth gameplay.
  11. Vaguely on topic but I agree. Fired up my 360 as I bought Sega Rally Revo, 340kb update or something like that, never had more than a few MB for games on it, bit different to the 40+ GB day one patches! Test first?! On topic, bought an Xbox back in the day, sold long time ago but then I picked up a soft modded 2TB one end of last year to add to my collection. Played through Rallisport Challenge 2 to completion again last I did back in the day Shame that series stopped there.
  12. Thought that was probably the case. Thanks.
  13. Can it actually use the full 8MB for Chip or does it still only reference 2?
  14. Can't be many of them out there. Going by the utterly ridiculous price of some NGPC games I expect it's worth more than that or at least will be in years to come.
  15. https://hiddenpalace.org/Sonic_the_Hedgehog_Pocket_Adventure_(Demo)
  16. That's cool, wonder if it's just the first level or something. It's a good version of the game.
  17. Ok confirmed, so if you look at my 2 folders above, One with 4 files, I select the .j64 file, it takes a few seconds to load, jag restarts, black screen for ever One with 2 files it works fine and loads the diag software So I don't think it's loading the bin fine as it takes a few seconds. I don't have a pc/card reader at home else I would try making a file with the same name of some other working rom but with .bin and see if that also stops it loading
  18. I will try it again tonight and post back The diagnostic rom works which is the main thing, it's quite cool
  19. Although one query, I first tried this one where I had the eerpom file with it's original name, shortened it to match the j64 file but leaving as .bin as well then also copied it to a .e2p file, this didn't work, just got the black screen when I launched the .j64 19/08/2019 19:26 2,097,152 jagdiag5394.j64 03/09/2020 19:43 128 jagdiageeprom.bin 03/09/2020 19:43 128 jagdiag5394.bin 01/01/2018 00:00 128 jagdiag5394.e2p Then in a separate folder I had just the j64 and e2p file and that worked 01/01/2018 00:00 128 jagdiag5394.e2p 19/08/2019 19:26 2,097,152 jagdiag5394.j64 Could it be a quirk/feature ( ) that having a third file name jagdiag5394 tripped it out? I can try it again last night just in case I was imagining things
  20. Yep just checked my SD card and that's what I did
  21. Got it to work, I forget how I named the files, will check at work tomorrow. It cycled through a few single colour screens, ran a cybermorph demo then seems to have stopped at the screen with 7 vertical coloured bars, is that what you would expect? Ok just read the manual above, all works, parrot photo looks really good! What resolution is it? Will confirm file naming tomorrow
  22. Put it in dir so will try tonight but doubt it will make a difference. The cart loads the menu on power on so perhaps the process of starting a loaded file is slightly different, you would need to ask Saint
  23. I have a JagSD, tried it before as mentioned above but can give it another go with the eprom file. Just put it in the same directory?
  24. How about I bump the thread for you Always been interested in the PCE family although I don't own one. One of the few retro consoles I don't. Would love a Duo R(X) with an everdrive but no funds atm. May go the Mini route if a decent hack comes out but for now I use my hacked Playstation Classic. Do enjoy some of the shooters, Splatterhouse etc. The smoked case is cool, anything similar on aliexpress as some have come out for the NGPC and I'm very tempted to get one as quite cheap https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001209491549.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.3de876861LcDx6&algo_pvid=c75ea757-fbe0-426e-875d-1017a76dd167&algo_expid=c75ea757-fbe0-426e-875d-1017a76dd167-8&btsid=0ab6fa7b15959487335991755e339a&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_
