  1. https://www.facebook.com/BennVennElectronics/ " NGPC - We wont be continuing development using our FS screen. We'll be developing a kit using the full size GBC LCD instead. A much larger and brighter option. "
  2. Bennvenn who does load of them, mostly Gameboy related was going to use this screen for his own NGPC one till the Chinese got in first so he scrubbed that. He is now developing a full size screen which fits one of the Gameboys I believe but will also go in the NGPC. Doubt it will be out for 6 months or so hence I spent £50 on this one including the bracket. Yes it's smaller but good enough especially when combined with your SD cart which I got last week thanks!
  3. Vaguely on topic and just posting as I see you are in the UK Gummy Bear. Anywhere near Leeds? I went to the recently opened Arcade Club last week, amazing! They have an original Tempest there with rotary controller
  4. Fitted one of the cheap screens last night, comes with all the cables. Only downside is it's smaller but totally worth it. Laserbear make printed surrounds to cover up the gap. Full size one is in development. Bad photos attached, screengrab of a video I took!
  5. I will give this a try on mine as I get little crackles in the sound sometimes, often at the same point ie in intro music. Does it on a couple of physical carts I have and the roms via SD cart so it is my Jag itself.
  6. Off topic, is the NGPC one on hold whilst you now go through the Jaguar orders as my number hasn't moved for a while. Just curious, got my Jag SD to pass the time anyway
  7. Folders work fine for me, I have about 6 on my card
  8. Mine hasn't moved in the queue for a while Luckily I have the Jag one though to keep me busy
  9. Yep all seems ok now without mrq file. I think power drive only actually saves once it starts loading the next track as first time I chose a save slot then turned off and not there on restart but tried it again waiting till next stage loaded and it's fine, used 2 slots testing Pinball fantasies fine and cannon fodder. Saved and loaded couple of times. First time I ran CF I had a red jag screen of death, bit odd, its really fussy with carts but your menu was loaded etc so clearly reading ok. My jag isn't 100% though as sound crackles sometimes (real and rom) so probably related Thanks for quick fix. Firmware updates so fast!
  10. Sorry no offense meant, was just asking. Good that you are bringing games to the Jag
  11. Ah was going to ask about reset back to the menu to avoid having to turn the Jag on and off. Saturn and Dreamcast have that useful feature. I noticed Power Drive last night can reset back to the start Menu at least. Couple of other thoughts from my 3hrs of testing (and hand pain from the pad lol) last night. Auto scroll left and right file names if highlighted and no joypad input after a few seconds How does the flashing work, is it lost on a power off? If not then how about if you hold down a certain button(s) as you power the Jag on, it auto runs the loaded Rom from last use? If the resident Rom is lost on a power off then you could perhaps write a file to the root of the SD which has the file name/path of the last loaded Rom then when the Jag is turned on and certain button(s) held down and the Menu loads, it then auto loads and launches the last loaded Rom
  12. Hi Saint. Just been going through my SD cart. Oddly Power Drive and Cannon Fodder had created .e2p files Just organised the cart with marquee files but I will make another dir with just roms only so I can test the new firmware and report back early evening thanks
  13. Hi, do any of the ones available to download in the thread, Badlands etc work on the SD cart? Would be great if they did as there are some real classics there which have been converted
  14. Ok cool I will take a laptop home tonight and try it out thanks
  15. Will grab it tomorrow and try although fantasies did save and power drive thought it had till I restarted. No card reader or PC at home so will look at the card at work to see if the save files give any clue. Might be a file name special character issue, they have brackets in them.
  16. Hi, sorry to log this, cart is great just seems to have a saving niggle. In Power Drive nothing was happening when I would click on save player after a race, it should bring up the 3 game slots. Also at the title screen hitting C should bring up the 3 slots so you can load one but it did nothing. I restarted the Jag and tried again, this time I could do the above and save, view save slots. Restarted the Jag, hit C at title screen, save game gone..... Pinball Fantasies has saved some high scores I got earlier on 3 tables Just tried Cannon Fodder and that has an issue, see the attached photo with error Sorry! Time for more pinball. PM me if you want my files, dir listing etc. I have got some in a sub folder but power drive in root and fantasies in folder so dont think that's the issue
  17. Ooh, must get some beers on the way home for an evening with this. Thanks Saint!
  18. Is there a marquee pack available anywhere? Nice panamajoe, mine is coming today I think!
  19. Thanks, no real issue, only Tempest would be nice but I hit a brick wall with it advancing wise so it won't matter starting from 0 again
  20. heh no rush! Am I right in thinking that Jaguar games save directly to the cartridge so there is no (simple/cheap/quick) way I could get my saves out of real carts I have and get them onto the SD cart with the rom?
  21. " Just re-testing and packing the first batch of JagSD's. " in post today so chance of arriving tomorrow for some bank holiday fun?
  22. Over 1000 for me bought a couple of "cheap" games off ebay for now scarlett sprite video review on youtube a day or 2 ago looks good
  23. Controller looks nice, might pick one up. Agree about the lack of 6 facing buttons. Not the end of the world for me as I have a pair of these so just use a Saturn pad (or DC/Saturn arcade stick..) http://www.thedreamcastjunkyard.co.uk/2015/11/a-quick-look-at-dreamconnector.html
