  1. I followed the link to Message #72: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/199865-ti-invaders-hacked/?p=3604171in the FG99 BIN Repository, but the file is no longer available. Is the INVADERS.BIN in Message #80: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/199865-ti-invaders-hacked/?p=3606807 the hacked, unlimited version?

  7. Well now I've done it. Actually, it is a good thing. My son came home from college on Christmas break and saw my Orange TI setup. The good thing, it sparked his interest in the TI-99/4A and we have been enjoying time together playing with both of my consoles. He told me that he would love to have one at college. He loves the TIPI and wants to use chatti, chess and create a BBS. I, being excited that he is interested in doing this, offered either one of my setups (Orange or Silver/Black) to take back with him. He was happy. Then, he said, "Dad, I would really love to get a beige console and have you show me how to customize it to make it blue." Which brings me to why I am posting this. I thought I would reach out to y'all to see if you might have a classic beige console gathering dust that you would be willing to part with. I would rather buy one from one of you first, before buying one from eBay. Please PM me if you have one that you are willing to sell. I will reply to this post to keep you updated on my progress. Thank you all so much for rejuvenating my interest in my first computer, for inspiring me to learn more about it and especially for being able to pass it on to both my sons. Happy Holidays! TWoodland
  8. ti99iuc, I wish! No, they are audio recordings of my past bands. https://soundcloud.com/tim-woodland-1
  9. Opry99er, I have a stash of VHS tapes I can send you for shipping costs. I used to master recordings on Beta HiFi then VHS HiFi.
  10. I have an orange one of these!
  11. Oh yes, please add me to the list!
  12. I would go though my cassette collection, digitize, and organize them along with digitized copies of their manuals. I would also be spending more time dialing up to BBS's !
  13. Thank you so much and good point! I will need to find and paint an orange and beige monitor. Right now it is connected to a black VISIO monitor that I share with my other computers. I will take a photo and post it.
  14. My Orange TI-99/4A Update: Now includes the COREi64 FinalGROM 99 Case and 32K sidecar + TIPI Case in ORANGE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsRjQDrDnY8
  15. Welcome back! I look forward to hearing about setting up and using your system again.
  16. Thank you all so much! I have replacement parts on the way!
  17. Thank you for the video and for testing this! Now I need to locate the .bin files you downloaded from whtech. CONFIRMED - I downloaded from whtech the \cartridges\FinalGROM99\FinalGROM99.zip and extracted it to the SD card and it does work! My TE-IIC.BIN, TE-IIG.BIN files from before must have been a bad image as Casey indicated! Thanks again Casey and to everyone for their input and help! YOU ROCK!
  18. What code did you try using this method? Did you try the example code that I posted? I downloaded the TEII archive and tried it again. I get "*I/O ERROR 00 IN 20". Line 20 = 20 OPEN #1:"SPEECH",OUTPUT I would appreciate it if you could confirm that the code works for you.
  19. I have not. I wasn't thinking it was an issue with the FG99, just that a .bin was not made of the TEII Basic option.
  20. When I try this, even though the menu looks right, the TEII basic commands do not function.
