Set of 7 generic color overlays for the Vectrex from CTDE.

I just ordered a set. Looking forward to getting them. -
These do not fit... they're a little larger than the connector on the extron... They're 3.81mm, so the extron is smaller than that. Wasted $6. I think 3.5mm is the correct size, which I found on ebay. Now I wait for shipping from China...

I think another option would be a kickstarter type funding effort and use a pcb fab house to do all the pcb manufacture and soldering work. PCBWay and others can do assembly of these for you for pretty cheap if assembly time is a concern. I'm sure there's a lot of people here that would throw money at a gofundme/kickstarter page for one or more copies. That way he doesn't loose his IP by releasing the design and source, and he also doesn't have to do a lot of work to get them made. Heck, even have them bulk shipped to someone willing to mail them out for a free copy of their own cart.

shipping to canada for these extron phoenix connectors is high... Would these ones from China work instead? https://www.ebay.ca/itm/10Pcs-3-81mm-Pitch-5-Pin-Angle-Screw-Pluggable-Terminal-Block-Plug-Connector/181714324095?_trkparms=aid%3D888007%26algo%3DDISC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131227121020%26meid%3Ddad834f29e6b48d9b98977581a854988%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26sd%3D323392523171%26itm%3D181714324095&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982 I know they don't have the extra tab for the zip ties, but they're 1/5 the price when you factor in shipping from the US.

also, the link to that doc doesn't work... so what pins of the connector go to which pins on the encoder?
-
Care to share what encoder you ended up using for this?
