  1. Any CDi and or 3DO fans? Looking for recommendations! What are your favorite games and why? Also are there any “obscure” games you enjoy? (Which should be interesting being that they’re obscure consoles to begin with lol)

3DO: Samurai Shodown and Super Street Fighter II are both great adaptations, as anyone will tell you.

3DO: I can tell you I found Lucienne's Quest to be highly overrated. But it's just about all you get for RPGs, so I can still recommend it. Alone in the Dark and its sequel are faithful conversions from the PC (DOS) originals.

  3. Ugh.. the special moves in the first Street Fighter game never seem to work in MAME. Sucks!

The special moves don't work in ANY version of Street Fighter / Fighting Street. I told the CD-ROM² version to, "Go to heaven!" years ago.

  6. Eeek! Time to look into fixing my Vectrex. Vectors were misaligned on power up then were perfect after 5 minutes.

Well she sneaks around the world from Kiev to Carolina,

She's a sticky-fingered filcher from Berlin down to Belize...

  10. I can't think of a single console with changeable games I don't like. no matter how terrible it is, there is usually some oddity about it I like. Example the RCA studio II, super early, really odd looking, and the learning game has numerous errors in the quiz book, inlcuding a question in which germany is the answer and germany isn't on the map

To keep the streak, don't fire up a Super A'can. (You're welcome.)

  12. I am currently viewing this forum from a 2007 Mac Mini running Windows XP Professional. I've also visited this site from Windows ME, a Pocket PC, a Nintendo DSi, and even Windows For Workgroups 3.11. Apparently I can't browse the web like a normal person.

  13. Nice to see Bon Jovi make peace for the Hall of Fame. After seeing the guys from Blondie and Chicago act like dinks, my faith is restored

Danny Seraphine, Chicago's original drummer, was the exception as he was thrilled as a kid in a candy store to be reunited with his former bandmates and let that enthusiasm show throughout his speech. He also made sure to mention & thank every other band member that had been canned over the years. A class act, even if his speech was a bit awkard at times and profanity-laden. :-P

He became a millionaire, owned a mansion and a yacht, donned a rabbit suit, and outsmarted the IRS.

  20. I thought about maybe buying an MT-32 since I wanted to play around with LA synthesis, and then I saw the prices are around $200 or more. They were just $100 a year or two ago, did YouTubers talking about them seriously raise the prices THAT much?
