  1. The scans page just had a few nice additions made to it: An article about the Quadlink from the June, 1983 issue of PC Magazine, and four different advertisements for the Quadlink. www.diskman.com/presents/trackstar/scans.htm
  2. Assuming you're referring to the 1999 toy fair catalog: It's a very high quality scan, weighing in at nearly 300 MB. So yes, depending on your internet connection speed it may take a while to load. Patience is a virtue.
  3. The 1999 Tiger Electronics toy fair catalog recently landed on my doorstep with a big ol' thud, which would have been fine – if I didn't have to scan it. Sadly, duty calls. So I brought it inside, snipped its binding rings, carefully removed all of its game.com related pages, aaaaand... D'OH!! The pages were too wide to fit any of my scanners! Grrrr! Thanks, Tiger: you have screwed me again. But, whatever. After a bit of disgruntled scanner shopping, I found myself in possession of a brand new Plustek OpticSlim 1180 jumbo flatbed scanner (very expen$ive): perfect for the task of properly archiving the aforementioned catalog pages. And... HEY!! There's some interesting stuff here, y'all: namely info & pics for a slew of unreleased games. So have a look! The end of the game.com
  4. There's several sellers on ePay who offer pre-made floppies for Osborne 1, including games and applications. That may be your best option, depending on how willing you are to try and learn the process of writing the disks yourself using old 360kB PC floppy drives. *shrugs* Of course I've never bought anything from any of these particular fellows, so I can't vouch for 'em.
  5. Units branded as Travellmate actually appear to be the earliest of the Supervision product line. And are fairly rare here in the States. Hence why someone actually paid $255 [!] to snap mine up. 😲 Screw the wikipedia, I'm gonna plug the ridiculous Supervision website that I, for some reason, work on tirelessly. Supervision: handheld of the less fortunate So there. 😝
  6. My 3DO Blaster is up for bidding now, as I was too impatient to wait for some insane collector type to SHOW ME THE MONEY! via a sky high offer. Creative 3DO Blaster - ISA card for PC - includes all cables + CR-563-B CD-ROM So if you've always wanted to own one of these bloated octopus monsters, please feel welcome to bid it up to high heaven, thus satisfying my greed for the big, big, big money. 🤑
  7. Bah. Just couldn't help yourself, eh? Well OK, a deal's a deal. Just don't come crying to me when it arrives in the mail and you instantly regret your purchase.
  8. I'm a little different because I'm a "collect to use" kind of guy, not "collect to have." When I bought all these "console / computer on a card" gizmos, it was because I found them fascinating and wanted to have a go. But out of all of them, the only ones that held my interest were the Trackstar series (Apple II clone on a PC ISA card). I'm obsessed with those, and use my Trackstar Plus often. So those stay. Everything else? Well, after loaning some of my "OMG SUPER RARE LQQK!" stuffs to LGR so he could make some vids, I knew I wasn't going to use any of it anymore. So, on to ePay it went. Good riddance. If I'm not using it, there's no point in keeping it. I don't want to look at it, I don't want to trip over it, I'd rather have the ca$h. *shrugs* But that's just my point of view. I'm not here to judge. The PC-FXGA ISA card actually seems to be quite rare. According to my research, NEC made far, far fewer of these than they did the PC-98 model. And that wasn't for "hype" or anything, it was because the western PCs were just starting to get some real market share in Japan, after many years of the market being dominated by their own domestic machines. But, yeah. No one really seemed to care that I was selling mine. Rarity doesn't necessarily create demand, even when it's a "CIB" kit from Japan that never shows up for sale in the west. The important thing is: I sold it. It's gone. And that is worthy of a disco dance celebration. ☺️
  9. I couldn't do that to a fellow forum goer. I'd never forgive myself for all the anguish you'd have to endure from playing it.
  10. I imagine. Too bad more of those small circle folks didn't bid the thing up higher. My children need wine. Not much you can actually do with the PC-FXGA though, unless you really like skeevy adult anime "games." Or actually intend to develop a game or tech demo... which no one does.
  11. Oh, I won't deny that I tried to like the Supervision, back in the early 2000s. Hell, at one point I damn near had myself convinced! Thankfully I snapped out of it, and let me tell you: In that moment, I'd never been happier to own a Game Boy. That said, the history of the website's harrowing development process is chronicled on the updates page, if any of y'all are interested. It's my favorite part of the website, especially the earliest entries (scroll all the way to the bottom of the page). Frankly it's a miracle the website exists online at all, considering all of that!
  12. Wow, really? Cool! You've created a game to play with the Supervision that's better than playing a game on the Supervision! ?
  13. Howdy, y'all! I'm selling some more junk on ePay, don't check it out! Supervision handheld game system - NOT like Game Boy! (That's why it sucks.) Travellmate handheld game system, early Supervision - Not fun but actually rare! Tiger game.com games: Arcade Classics, Henry, Lights Out - guaranteed boring! I do honestly want to sell these, but... I CAN'T LIE!! So the descriptions, while they may seem like they'll kill any chances for profit, they're at least honest. (And how often do you run across an honest salesman?!) 'K bye.
  14. I have a bunch of junk up for sale on ePay. Check it out if you want to give me monie$, or if you just want to read my lazy item descriptions and peep my sub-amateur product photos... https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=brando-65c02&_sop=1 Items (as of this post) currently include... Eight 3DO games PC-FXGA (DOS/V) [!] 3DO Blaster [!!] Variable Geo for DOS (rare Taiwan release!) [!!!] = boobies! ? DPRK cartoons ❤️ Apple IIe Card GS-RAM card for Apple IIgs Apple IIgs power supply (yawn) Orpheus I ISA sound card MK8330 ISA sound card Miracle Systems QXL Card ISA card Atlona CDM-660 PAL to NTSC converter Pro AudioSpectrum 16 for Mac PDS Mockingboard D for Apple IIc ...and some other stuff I'm really, honestly, not motivated to list here. Sorry, folks, you'll just have to click the link above (ooh, HYPE!). Also please note most of these auctions are about to end (starting from 4 hours from now - 1 day from now), so be quick or be dead (ooh, EXTRA HYPE!!). Also also: Before anyone asks, "Why are you trying to get so much for the 3DO Blaster, you rotten cheat?!" (Which someone probably still will ask, since nobody actually reads anything anymore.) My answer is simple: "This stuff's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it." (And I'm hoping someone'll pay a bundle for this octopus monster of a product!) Kthx.
  15. I aim to please! (Wait, maybe I don't. After all this is a Supervision website we're talking about here. Ick.) It's always felt a little odd, working on a website for a game system that I don't even like. Kinda seems pretty pointless at times, as a matter of fact. But you know why I do it? Because I'm fascinated with things like the product design (label and packaging artwork), terrible English descriptions & instructions, et Cetera. And I know that if I don't scan and preserve everything, no one else will. So in that regard, it's worthwhile for me. But actually playing the games? No thank you. That's hell. ?
  16. ? I recommend buying neither. But I hope you're enjoying my website(s). ?
  17. I've been putting off an update because I didn't wanna do it, but by now y'all should know that's kinda par for the course with this website. *yawn* So what super-de-duper stuffs were added this time round? An alternate set of Treasure Hunter instructions, for one. Those instructions, by the way, accompanied a cartridge that held an alternate version of the game. (Joy!!) It boots with the same energetic female voice crying out, “Shupavishun!” as featured in Classic Casino. It also displays a different copyright year (1993) on the title screen. Furthermore, the music is different. What (sadly) hasn't changed, however, is the fact that the game is still unwinnable: level 6 appears to be impossible to complete, and hacking the game to progress to level 7 instead gives you a glitchy mess. Excellent job as always, Bon Treasure (should be bon voyage). I've added a pic of said mess to the Treasure Hunter page, for your bewilderment. As was already stated on the Hero Kid page, this game is also unwinnable. Though a congratulations graphic is printed on the game's instruction page, the game crashes after a certain amount of levels are played. Thus the player never sees this graphic in all its “glory.” But, never fear! The infamous congratulations graphic is indeed stored in the game binary and I've plucked it out, adding it to the website. Ooh!! I hope you're ready for this last one, 'cuz you'll be pounding your chest in primal excitement over it for sure: a crinkled, full color advertisement... showcasing SONNY X'PRESS! Hooray!!
  18. Indeed. They're fascinating devices; fun to use and experiment with. The Trackstar E and Plus are the best of the lot, as they can load & run floppy disk and HDD images directly off the hard drive. That means no need to bother connecting them to a floppy drive at all.
  19. OK, so my Trackstar website was finally redesigned, and updated with lots of new info, scans, and downloads. Come by and have a look! www.diskman.com/presents/trackstar
  20. I'm just going to jump in and also recommend a //e over a ][+ or IIgs. Personally I grew up with an Apple IIc, and while it's an absolutely awesome machine, its portable design severely limits your expansion capabilities. With a //e Enhanced or Platinum, you'll have the entire world of 8-bit Apple II hardware and software open to you, waiting to be enjoyed. (I'd of course recommend buying a Speaker Connector for the added convenience, so you're not limited to full volume 100% of the time, with no way to adjust it.) Whichever machine you choose, you're sure to enjoy it. Apple II = ❤️.
  21. Fighter profiles, complete with special attack listings and some nifty new artwork, are now available for Tough Guy. They've been a while in the works; we appreciate your patience! Tough Guy fighter profiles Here's a fine example of the new fighter profile artwork, based on Joseph Chang's original hand-drawn pieces...
