OK, I found & bought a complete copy of WOF2 from a nice fellow, so this thread can be closed now.

So, the long-rumored version of Cross High on a cart by itself has finally surfaced.

Next time I update the website there'll be some info about it.

Thank you so much for this! I love when someone is devoted to a more obscure system and shares their passion for it and wealth of knowledge, great stuff!
Sure, you're welcome. I'm glad you dig it. It was just one of those things I felt I had to do, because no one else would be crazy enough to do it. And also, I do enjoy Supervision research. (+ it's more fun than actually playing the games)
-
I've since updated the site to have much higher-res versions of all the scans. So if you popped in & downloaded them all early on, go back and re-download them all.

I've also added quite a few additional scans, such as the packaging and inserts for the Hartung & Goldnation variations of the Supervision.
And there'll be even more content added soon(ish); a few people were nice enough to send me some scans + photos their own items, which is very helpful as it saved me from having to waste MORE money on MORE Supervision stuff. That's always nice, welcomed, and appreciated.

I am well aware of eBay. I am exploring other options in the mean time, hoping to buy the game as soon as possible.

Hello.
I want a complete copy (cart + manual + box) of Wheel of Fortune 2 for Tiger game.com. Preferably new, sealed. But I'll take unsealed *IF* everything, esp. the box, is in like-new condition.
Will pay a very fair price. I need it to complete my collection, and document the game on my WIP website, "The end of the game.com" so hit me up if you have it available.
Thx.

Game Gear sound chip is poo. That said, I have a soft spot for this machine -- though yes, I highly prefer the Lynx -- and I can personally recommend these Game Gear games:
- James Pond II: Codename Robocod (far from a "perfect" adaptation, but still fun)
- Mega Man (handled clumsily by U.S. Gold (as always), it's still playable and enjoyable)
- Shining Force II: The Sword of Hajya (good RPG)
I'm sure others can recommend a bevy of other games. My experience with the GG is so far limited to only a dozen or so. (Though considering I had mine re-capped and composite modded I should probably start using it more.

Reaperman: If you visit the music page of the site, you can download recordings I made on real hardware. Some Fatal Craft tunes are in there, for your disenjoyment.
krslam: "John Adventure" makes me think about the toilet. But then, most Supervision games do.
boxpressed: Thanks, that story is very important to me and I love being able to share it. Check out Sango Fighter 2 in DOSBox, it's pretty cool too.

Is the hardware so beyond redemption any good qualities would be lost
YES.
But dear God, if there's anything else I can do to convince you not to waste any money on a Supervision:

^ That's the most advanced emulator. Please DO NOT ask me, nor Osman, for game binaries.

I hope you do give it another try. It's a really cool little gizmo. Lots of fun to be had with the Trackstar series.

Hey guys,
Just a heads-up to let you know my Trackstar website is up, covering the E, 128 and also Quadram's Quadlink <-- These are all "Apple II on a PC ISA card" Apple II clones. Really cool little devices!
If you own these devices, esp. the Trackstar E or Plus, there's HUNDREDS of disk images in its TrackStore format that I've converted manually.
So you can download and enjoy a HUGE amount of software without needing real Apple II disks.
There's also a working KryoFlux disk image of the Trackstar 128 Utility Program disk, so you can create a disk with the copy protection intact which allows you to actually use your 128. This is perfect for those who -- like me -- bought their 128 without the necessary disk. D'oh!
There ain't a lot of info or resources about the Trackstar cards out there, so I hope mine fills the void.
Enjoy it @

Holy Sssnake, it's finally here! The website that nobody demanded!

If you're familiar with the Supervision, you're probably laughing right now.
If you're not familiar with the Supervision... oh boy, are you in for disappointment.
This website is the result of 15 years [!] of research and collecting, and today (Oct. 4th, 2018) is its world debut.
I'm sorry.

There's also lots of other nifty, geeky, classic gaming stuffs on the main site, which you may enjoy a lot more than this Supervision nonsense...

Yo, thanks for sharing your feedback about the game, gents. Glad to see y'all are diggin' it.

All pre-order copies have been shipped, so if you haven't received yours yet... tell your postman to get the lead out.

I'm pleased as Christmas punch we were able to get this game back into production & in the hands of even more Lynx fanatics. PenguiNet showed us all what the Lynx is truly capable of. I'm proud to have enjoyed the privilege of producing & publishing this masterwork.

...aaaaand shipping is now commencing. I'll be posting orders every day -- including Sunday as the postal kiosk is open 24h -- until they're all out the door. Keep an eye out for your shipping confirmation e-mail.
Please feel welcome to share your comments with me, once you've had a chance to try the game.

Howdy! (See what I did there?)
The Penguin Bros., fiendish 5¼" floppy disk hoarders that they are, don't want Zaku to ship this month.

But, too bad. Because it will.
All pre-ordered copies of Zaku will soon be on their way to y'all, so you can take control of our heroine and, you know, like, beat those penguins up, and stuff.

If you need to update your mailing address, send the current one to me --> [email protected]r.com <-- and I'll personally reply with a confirmation.
Thanks for your patience, everyone. It's going to be a wicked cool Lynx-centric summer, yo.

Let's clarify:
1). We announced we'd produce 400 additional copies. We pre-sold 400 copies. So we have stopped taking orders.
2). There are no "extras." 400 is 400. The end.
3). We have produced and sold 1,000 copies in all. That's pretty darn impressive for a new Lynx game. Best quit while we're ahead.
We will not be producing additional copies of Zaku in the future.
Thanks again for your interest, everyone. To those who pre-ordered, we'll begin shipping soon. E-mail updates will be sent shortly, giving customers some time to update their mailing addresses if necessary. You are welcome to send mailing address updates at any time, however. Do it now, if you like.
And for the nth time: If you have questions for me, please send them by e-mail --> [email protected] <-- for the fastest response time.

Will there be address confirmation before shipping, or should we contact you now about updating address information?
Already answered in my previous reply. Scroll up, please.
Ah hell, no one's going to scroll up.
Yes, I'll ask for updated addresses to be sent.
But you can send them any time. Now is good.

Just to be clear, is this a humorous comment or a firm announcement that Zaku will ship this year BEFORE October 2?
Can't it be both?
Because it's both.
-
So is it too late to order now?
Yes.
-
To clarify: "Reaching our pre-order quota" simply means "We're not taking any additional pre-orders." It doesn't mean we were waiting to pre-sell all the copies before producing them. Anyone who paid was always guaranteed to get a copy. (I think that was clear already, but I'd rather no one misunderstand my previous post. I don't want to see a bunch of speculation again. Speculation is the enemy.)
In fact the game has been in production for a while now; we'll be ready to ship before too much longer. So for anyone who swore it wasn't going to come in time for Christmas -- or Thanksgiving or whatever -- sorry to disappoint you but they'll start shipping well before, for example, National Custodial Worker's Recognition Day.

-
Aaaand we have reached our pre-order quota.
Thanks to everyone who pre-ordered, I think you're really going to dig the game.

Hello, are the boxes/cartridges numbered?
No. We don't do the whole "limited edition" thing; our goal is to produce & release enough copies of our games to meet demand. We don't have an air of eliteness, we just want people to play & enjoy our games and not leave anyone out (within reason).
BTW: For anyone curious, after this run we'll have produced and shipped 1,000 copies [!] of Zaku. And we're damned proud of that. PenguiNet did a fantastic job developing the game, and we're glad it's had such a wide distribution (at least by Lynx numbers).

Not to sound like a jerk, but I'm scratching my head right now.

1). I stated here, at least twice, I don't have free time to visit forums very often these days, and invited people to contact me via e-mail with questions. Was Jazzoff2000 the only one here who did?! Well Jazz on, my man. But seriously, I'm very receptive to your questions. E-mail me anytime at --> [email protected] <-- and I'll happily get back to you at my first opportunity.
2). Zaku will indeed be shipping this year, and, you know, pretty soon. Customers will receive an e-mail notice shortly before shipping begins, so anyone who may have moved since ordering can provide a new address if necessary. Since shipping our first game in 2006, we've never missed a promised release date. As Robert Lamm sang, "Keep the faith, don't look back." (Not his greatest tune by any means, but you get the idea.) Zaku's a fine game, if I do say so myself -- and I do! -- so you're sure to dig on it when you receive your copy. Waiting builds anticipation. (Yeah, yeah, I know. "Shut up and ship it already." Don't be mean.)
3). Good Deal Games made a confusing (aka unintentionally misleading) statement following the purchase of some of our remaining game stock. No one's bought our company out, nor will anyone do so. GDG bought some few remaining copies of our new stock, and that's that. (Again, no one ever e-mailed me about it to inquire. Speculation is the enemy! FIGHT IT.)
4). Lovely moon out tonite, wouldn't you agree?
Thanks for your interest & support, everyone. Myself & our mascot Diskman both appreciate it.

Hello, all.
A while back I was finally able to acquire a like-new copy of Street Counter, the South Korean release of Super Fighter. It's super-de-duper rare and in fact I only ever saw evidence of one copy --> the one I eventually bought. Took quite some time as the first time I had a friend contact the owner, there was no response. Flash forward a few years later, I decided to try again, and this time the guy was receptive to selling.
Miraculously all the 5¼" floppies worked perfectly so I was able to make a successful backup! W0w. It's based on the (also limited) English release from Australia, with a few changes. Notably, to make the USA fighter "Bullet" be from South Korea, and with a new name. Came with a Korean-language manual, albeit in black and white instead of the original color one, and new box art.
After removing the copy protection I sent the game to the webmaster of DOS Games Archive. Just didn't have time to do a proper release @ superfighter.net yet.
If you love DOS games, please download it and have a go on your DOS machine or in DOSBox...
https://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/super-fighter/
...or just download the attachment.
(Note I own the legal rights to this game, so it's not "piracy." Enjoy it guilt-free.)
Thanks for having a look.

Yo!
Today there's been some cool [?] updates to the site:
* Confirmation of "Cross High" existing as a standalone cartridge
* Scans of Chinese-language instructions for six games + the Supervision itself
* Scans of a damn near perfect TV-Link box, + instructions in six languages
* Scans of Watary Italia advertisements, featuring the "Supervision ninja" <-- just ridiculous

Merry Christmas!
