The Official Turbografx 16 Thread!
Sinjinhawke replied to Rick Dangerous's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Just got a notice my Analogue Duo will arrive tomorrow. I've only got about 100 original Turbo and PCE hucards and discs to test it with but looking forward to it. Couple dozen burned discs as well. Hopefully I can put my actual TG16 CD player away and just use the Duo.- 3,839 replies

Intellivision Purchases and Deals
Sinjinhawke replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Was at the Flea Market below Dixie Mall in Mississauga today. Had a nice selection of sealed INTV games. Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to ask the prices. Oh and plenty of Carnivals to donate to Rick Reynolds. -
That's cool. No rush. Just good knowing things are happening.

For those with sensitive fingers like myself there is an auto-fire option. It can only be engaged or disengaged at the menu screen by pressing 9. I don't think it is in the manual or maybe it is and my lazy eyes just skipped over it.

I did get the impression the cartridge drought is over but as I am not someone who provides them I have no data to back that claim up. Just seems to be a lot of new games coming out now on new (non recyled) carts. Sorry to hear how much of a nightmare Sorrow was to get out to us. I completely understood the situation and felt you kept us appraised of what was happening so there was no hard feeling on my part.

Amigo Cornhole for the Intellivision
Sinjinhawke replied to 5-11under's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I like that you have(had) an Arcadia 2001 multi-cart in your store. If I ever got one of those systems that would be the only cart I would want. Most of the games are not very good so I would never pay the prices they go for. -
Tale of Dragons and Swords endings
Sinjinhawke replied to Rick Reynolds's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Yeah, I think I mentioned in the other TSD topic that there is a vendor on the left and right side of the map on the level just before dragon. I would run back and forth between the two venders killing all the mobs. This would give me enough coin to heal without waiting to heal. Just kept running back and forth gaining experience, pay to heal, lots of monster murdering, laughing all the way, fa la la la la. Oh, and saving. Don't forget to save. -

Tale of Dragons and Swords endings
Sinjinhawke replied to Rick Reynolds's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I have got all three endings. 1. Wear out the dragon after 5 minutes (longer on PAL) 2. Win on easy 3. Win on medium The ending on medium is more satisfying than it was on easy from a story basis. -
Definitely saving my gold plated latinum for the mystery game. Actually waiting on 7 paid for games at the moment which is just insane for me. But there are a few of the games in Rev's store (that I don't have) I want to grab come tax season. I may be poor because my wife lost her job but in the spring the tax man takes some pity.

Got your email while I was on the GO Train heading home. Got my order in and since I was there grabbed a copy of X-Rally. Woot! It's raining Intellivision games. Was worried I would miss out if I waited until I got home.

Intellivision Ebay Roundup
Sinjinhawke replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I wonder if it is possible that the TV being used may be a factor. The reason I say this is because I have the game Solar Fox for the Atari 2600. I have the Intellivision System Changer and the Colecovision Expansion module and that game will not work when plugged into my Viewsonic TV. I thought it was a bad cart so I bought a 2nd copy which also will not work. When I move these systems up to the family room Sony TV they both work fine. No other 2600 game I have behaves like that. Maybe an apples to oranges comparison but easy to test if you have multiple TV's. -

Wow, I have heard people get the refund but it takes forever. Aren't you worried your place in line for something that will never exist is forfeit? -

It seems criminal their web page is still pushing it. Gets me angry and I really don't get angry. I get even but that isn't angry. More cold and calculating. -
A new Intellivision game - Spy's Rise
Sinjinhawke replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
So no Cmart in sexy Christmas elf costume? No worries, I never heard of this game until this thread was brought up again. Rev is sending 3 games in December and COTE hopefully is sending two by then so I am pretty much set.
