New online retro-computing magazine seeks article authors
GarySP replied to GarySP's topic in Classic Console Discussion
The focus of the magazine will be on classic programming and hardware, something which I haven't seen a lot of. A lot of sites are very generalised or focused mainly on software. Initially it will just be me writing the articles, but once I begin to get some revenue from advertising, then I will of course pay for article submissions. As for the number of readers, that's something that time will tell. Cheers, Gaz. -
Hi all, I'm starting up an online magazine which will focus on classic and retro computing, specifically hardware and programming. The platforms I initially want to cover are the 68k Amigas, C64, Atari 2600 and Sinclair Spectrum. I'm looking for people who would like to contribute articles to the site. As I'm just starting out, I won't be able to offer any financial remittance for any articles submitted, but I'll hopefully be able to do so in the future. If anybody would be interested in writing an article or tutorial series, could you please PM me with examples of previous work / blogs etc? Articles I'd be most interested in are programming tutorials (6502 asm, Atari 2600 programming etc), new hardware reviews, new software reviews etc. Cheers, Gaz.

Hi all. I just thought I'd let you know that my new retro-gaming shop PlanetRetro is now open for business. We have a wide selection of books, games and magazines available. All of the Atari games and hardware are PAL at the moment, but don't let that put you off having a look around. The sire address is http://planet-retro.com.

Hi all. I'm thinking making one at some point in the future, and wondered if anybody would be interested in buying one. Also I'd like to know the amount that people would expect to pay for the cart. The cart would include 1Mb flash ROM, USB connectivity and Windows / Linux software on CDROM. Obviously I'm not going to go ahead with the project if nobody is interested :-)
