Good to hear, I thought international shipping would take longer. Also, changing your brightness and/or contrast might help with the colors on level 2. yes, I was quite impressed by how quick I got the package and yes, the brightness helps....a bit now I can see a"ghsost" of the cat but it is perfectly playable and overall enjoyable it is quite challenging for a 2600 game btw, what is the bug from level 3 and how to deal with it? I have to congratulate Nathan Strum for his job on the manual i enjoyed his work on past projects but this one is top notch! -

What Should Santa Get Albert for Christmas?
lucifershalo replied to Atari Charles's topic in Atari 2600
How much do you think that is? ..Al I have no idea, really, but it's possible for us to help out with the costs of running the site. Heck if you owned everything, we might just be paying for the electricity to run it. If it costs you millions of dollars a month, we'd be able to help pay the bill! Well, that's part of the reason I run the store, is to help pay for the hosting costs. There are actually two servers and it's over $400 a month for them. AtariAge is sitting on its own server, and there are a bunch of other sites (such as AtariProtos.com, AtariMagazines.com, AtariArchives.org, AtariMac.com, and so forth) on the other box that I am hosting for free. I've always wondered how much could be made by putting tasteful ads on the site (tasteful as in just Google AdWords or something along those lines), but have resisted doing so. There's also the possibility of creating a subscription system where people can pay a yearly subscription or something and get some additional benefits (maybe exclusive areas to the forum, first-crack at new game releases, some sort of newsletter, etc.) but I haven't pursued that just yet. ..Al If the price is reasonable, I would subscribe!! -

hello , am I invisible? -
I ordered from 8bitdomain different mods 1 atari jr pal mod 1 colecovision mod 1 bally astrocade mod after waiting a looooooooong time without any updates I finally received them and decided with a friend more gifted than me in soldering to do the Atari2600 being finished we tried it and.....nothing I then sent my console to Holland to René Van Den Ende (an Odyssey2 fan and master in modding consoles, he modded an Odyssey2 and a VC4000 for me) for him to have a look his comments: this is a list of the problems, - Y-signal for S-video output interrupted due to bad soldering of connector contact, - wrong spot marked in manual for soldering the audio wire to the main PCB, the correct spot is marked by the red arrow in the attached picture, - level of chroma signal for S-video output much too high, which can cause severe picture distortion. additionally in the pdf file that serves as instructions there was a mistake The bally astrocade being really easy (no soldering), I do it myself, and it is marvelous After the bad experience with the 2600 mod, I dont dare trying it on the Colecovision I contacted them about that problem and after some reminders they proposed for me to send back the mod (difficult because 1.it is done and repaired 2.sending it back from Belgium would cost me too much in shipping costs) or free shipping on my next order, "next order" that wont exist after that bad experience! Yes, maybe I should have not send the console to René to be fixed but contact 8bitdomain, I wanted to know if it was my mistake or not. So I am not saying that 8bitdomain is bad, just to be careful and to know that they dont propose any quality after sale service... a bitter customer of 8bitdomain
