great! but no rom

I just bought a boxed CBS Module 1 with that way, I thought I would be able to play 2600 games on my big tv but I have no signal I know the parallel port of the Coleco console works as I have a SGM ... The console is NTSC and the module french (Pal) could it be the problem? thanks for your help
