Again, I'm sorry you are disappointed with RD1. If you have modified your Jaguar to play in NTSC, you will find it runs at the correct speed. I hope this wouldn't put you off sampling any of the later releases and thank you for the comment regarding Star Wars - the mouse makes that game shine!

Anyway, thank you @CyranoJ for the explanations, I will see to change my Jaguar 50Hz in 60Hz.

Umm, I actually completed it - as I do all the ports before giving them to Gaz. Rick will play slightly faster in NTSC land, as the game is synced to the vblank.

Rick is one of the earlier ports, a lot has been learned about how best to handle things since then.

Of course it can end, but it does not make you want to play an accelerated game.
Rick Dangerous should go at the same speed as Rick Dangerous 2.
Play Rick Dangerous on the Atari ST and you'll see the difference.
I am in France and my console is PAL.

  3. In the US...in Europe they are going for about 100 Euros on Ebay.

I bought my Intellivoice in the US for 9.99$. These are the shipping costs that have cost dear.

It works very well, I'm really not disappointed. :)

I bought a bunch of new overlays from pboland a few months back and so I'm sure he can accommodate you. They were of the usual very high quality and I cannot recommend them enough.

Thank you for the recommendations, I wish have all my cartridges with its overlays, but it seems to me that it is not possible for the overlays of the super action controller,
but it is already good for the normal controller. :)

  5. There is a setting in the atarimax that allows you to skip the bios. If this is enabled it prevents the lower 8k bankswitching functionality of the SGM and will prevent it from working. Check the atarimax settings to see if it is enabled and disable it.

Thank you for this info Bmack36.
I disabled the Bios Bypass in the settings of Atarimax and the SGM works fine, as well as the Kings Valley game..
Problem resolved .. Again thank you !
PS : I also participate in the Kickstarter Phoenix, I hope that its development will be completed :)

  6. Some obvious questions to start:

    1) Are you using a ColecoVision or an Adam?

    2) Assuming it's a ColecoVision, do you have an alternate Coleco BIOS installed?

EDIT: All SGMs are the same internally, by the way.

    1) I am using a European Colecovision Pal and a French Secam.
    2) The Bios of my Colecovisions are from origins.
I use the latest Atarimax-SD firmware beta and the SGM roms work well except Kings Valley.
I have a single cartridge SGM Zaxxon Super Game that works well.
So where does the worry come from?

  7. Hello !

I own the third version of the SGM of 2015.
I have the error shown on the picture below.
    SGM games work well though.
Is the error coming from the May 2013 sgm_test program, which would not be compatible with the SGM that came out in 2015 ?
