  1. Honestly, it took me two years of waiting patiently and consistently checking eBay in order to get a complete in box copy of Diner at a fair price. (I ended up paying $65.). It does come up, but as has been mentioned, there are a lot of people on eBay trying to gouge you, so just be patient and it will eventually come up. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

  4. This game doesn't have the best reputation, but I actually love it as well. Different strokes, I guess.... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  5. I tried... 12,150 I always find this game very difficult. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  6. This game is way too frustrating..... 14,400 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  7. Had a chance for one last game before bed. This is my personal high score in this game, so I'm pretty happy. 1,568,000 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  8. Ha! Yeah, I got that System III off eBay a while back. It looked perfect, practically unused, but when I tried to play it, nothing worked at all. I tore open the controllers and cleaned them. Then I tried to clean out the cartridge port as best I could, but still nothing. So, every once in a while I get it out and see if I can get it working, and today I actually managed to get it going! The controllers are actually really sharp and responsive. It's a wonderfully pleasant surprise. [emoji3] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  9. Actually had a reasonably good game, for once. (For me, at least.) 235,800 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  10. First try... (I'm terrible at this game.) 9,200 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  11. That's definitely not it. As I said, I tested it out with a dozen different cartridges (and the LTO Flash) on a 2609, a 2609a, a Tandyvision, a GTE Sylvania model, two different Intellivision IIs, a Super Video Arcade and in Nostalgia. It happened in every single case. I was absolutely exhaustive in my investigation, as I was curious what the cause was. The only conclusion I could come to was that it is a bug in the code. What I can't figure out is why some other people don't experience it. I will say that I don't think I happens unless you are near the end of the second wave (the second Pandemonium) and have not yet died. That's not to say that it doesn't happen on all sorts of different circumstances, but I have never seen it happen in the first one. It's just very strange... All the more so, since some people don't encounter it at all. (Also, keep in mind, it isn't a typical Intellivision game freeze. The game crashes and the screen goes black. It's quite unique to this game, actually.) Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  12. That just seems unbelievable to me, as it happens to me 100% of the time unless I actively manage the situation (meaning, primarily, my extra lives). I'm not saying that I don't believe you, it's just difficult for me to wrap my mind around, given my experience. I wonder if it has anything to do with using autofire. (I use the autofire all the time when I am playing, since I have serious tendonitis in both hands.) Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  13. I'm surprised that more people aren't complaining about the black screen crash. I tested that out exhaustively two seasons ago and had it happen on every single one of my Intellivisions and on Nostalgia. I tried several different carts and the LTO Flash, as well. It makes playing the game so nerve-racking for me, as I never know when the game is just going to stop, go blank and force me to start over... [emoji26] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  14. 13,132... Then crashed with the screen shaking bug. Still, not a bad score. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  15. Has anyone figured out what to do about the dreaded Black Screen of Death? I had this exact same issue the last time this game was on the High Score Club. [emoji21] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  16. A little improvement. 66,800 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  17. Frozen up at 44,450. (But with no lives and no peppers, I wasn't going much further....) Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  18. Got a chance to play a little today. 37,960 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  19. By the way, what I meant was that I didn't MISunderstand at all. [emoji3] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  20. No, I didn't understand at all. I actually pushed for this schedule because the schedule for past season was too fast for me. You don't really have two weeks per game, because if you are incredibly limited for time, you're only playing one game when you sit down. I remember that Bamse had the same complaint. The whole thing moved so quickly that I just couldn't keep up. For me, two games going at the same time is just unmanageable. Two weeks per game, one game at a time, means I might get to play once or twice in that two-week span. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  21. I totally understand the complaints about the two-week schedule. However, may I add my own perspective a little bit? I love the High Score Club, but I am very busy. As a result, I have only one chance to play Atlantis and o haven't had any chances yet to play Lock 'n' Chase (hoping to have a little time this weekend). As it is now, I know I will get a chance to play each game at least once or twice. Switch to a new game every week, and I know that I will completely lose track of what is going on. That's just the experience of one working professional with no kids. I can't even imagine how anyone with a family could keep up with the pace of there is a new game each week. All that said, you should do what the majority want, obviously. I was just really saddened that I essentially couldn't participate in the High Score Club last round, since the pace was so fast. 22. I have way more than two. I often try out different ones to see which consoles offer the best play experience for different games. Since the controllers are hard-wired to the console, it is the only practical way. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  23. Had the chance to try once more. 5250. Improvement! [emoji3] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
