  1. Just got an Odyssey 2 controller to try with my 2600, been trying to find a good joystick-style controller because I hate using the pro-line joysticks. Hope this one is good!

      Slik stiks are pretty cool too...Just another thought,  in your quest...or SEGA Genesis pads, Europads, NES Pads (Wired up to work).   Or save up and see EdLaddin...https://edladdin.com/

      @GoldLeader Funny you mention Genesis pads, as that's what I have been using primarily to play 2600 games, since I got my 7800 a few years ago and it's great as a replacement, if one wants to use a D-Pad. However, I've been dying to feel the nostalgia associated with using a good joystick, as many on here and other pages have vouched for it.

      Some O2 controllers are hard wired.  Mine was, but my O2 back then was dead so opening it and removing the controller was easy.  Not having a soldering iron back then and just twisting the wires together....  Well, not a great plan, but worked at the time.. ;-)
