  1. I haven't actually, but I've kinda been wanting to try some pixel art for the 8-bit/5200 specs, so I could possibly try it in the near future
  2. Thanks for the feedback! I think i'll actually take you up on that suggestion lol. I'll try and do a splash screen similar to the ones I've done previously, but with the Dig Dig cast of course
  3. Awesome, I guess the website was just acting funny lol
  4. Huh, I hadn't done anything. I had the pictures hosted on photobucket, which seems to be currently down? I'm not sure if this is permanent or not, but first thing tomorrow I'll upload the images to a new site and fix the links. Sorry about that lol
  5. Thanks, this is good for viewing the rom, but I'm still not sure how I would edit those graphics.
  6. I can't get this method to work for me, there's got to be an easier way to edit the graphics, I've seen graphic hacks for the 7800 before.
  7. Here's my attempt to fix the font I'm hoping to try some Atari 2600 pixel art soon, let me know if you guys think I should give it a go, and what characters you'd like to see me draw for it!
  8. Oh okay, I see what you mean. I'll do that edit as soon as I can
  9. Thanks! I was hoping the new gradient would look nicer, glad it turned out well
  10. Again, I apologize for the double post, but here's the edit I did for the font on the previous pixel art image. I also messed around a bit with the horizontal interrupts that made the gradients. I hope this one isn't as odd looking lol. Let me know what you guys think!
  11. Oh yeah, you're right I had totally forgot about the Four Score and other adapters similar to it lol. I think that if gauntlet released on the 7800 with 4 player support as a launch title, that would've been a huge system seller, since the arcade game would've been fairly new at the time.
  12. The 7800 would definitely fix the flickering problem, the MARIA is great with sprites, but I'm not sure if there's a way to get 4 controllers hooked up to a 7800.
  13. I could see the game using the 160B mode and adding even more fidelity to the graphics, would kill to see that.
  14. Thank you for the feedback! I was trying to do a sort of "Indiana Jones style" font for the title, I agree that it didn't turn out quite right (the lower resolution makes it a bit tough lol), but I'm giving a flat look a go, as well as adding curves to all the words. So I hope it turns out better
  15. I'll believe that when the moderators take it down.
  16. Thanks a ton, I'm glad you liked it! I'll see what I can do with the E
  17. Thank you very much, I try my best! I'm thinking of doing an alternate image of the most recent pixel art that gives her back the bikini look from before lol
  18. Exactly, you hit the nail right on the head lol
  19. Apologies for the double post, I just thought I'd share this. I just finished up another 7800 pixel art image this morning, I'd love to hear what you guys think! Had a lot of fun with this one, all done by hand, no scanned drawings
  20. Thanks a ton, bro! Also, keep making art, if you're still doing it lol
  21. Wow, these are wild man! I'm impressed by all these works, considering the color limitations, it's amazing! I'm hoping that I can possibly use 7800 basic or ASM programming to create either a demo or even a game for the 7800, using the graphics I've made
  22. Thanks a ton for the feedback, I always appreciate it! With regards to my technique, sometimes I will scan a drawing, usually just the characters that I edit, and then I add in the background afterwards. However, sometimes I will just start drawing directly into the program, most times that I do this are with consoles with really limited graphics capabilities (i.e 2600, ZX Spectrum, Colecovision.) Also, I'm glad the characters appear to fit with the era, I usually try to do that
  23. Thanks for the feedback! I'm hoping this will reach further if possible lol.
  24. Thank you, this is so kind of you to say. I also appreciate the fact that you think the characters are cute I try to be proud of my art, I can handle criticism, I honestly prefer it to a lot of responses, but I really didn't want to get this reputation of being a stubborn jerk who can't take any criticism, ya know lol. I went ahead and did a redesign of one of the female characters, and if enough people like it, I'll implement it in the next piece I'm working on. I'm doing this because I legitimately want to see what people think, not to appease anyone or be "politically correct." As you do, I respect anyone who wants to express their opinion, that is 100% okay with me, always. Thanks for backing me up and sharing your thoughts on the matter, same goes for everyone else Here's the redesign:
  25. Wow, that's really kind of you to say! Thanks for enjoying my art, and I will definitely keep working on them
