I think this flashback is great! I don't care if it has a card slot, I can use my old 2600 for those. I'll buy one for sure-just for the homebrews-as well as the convienience of having 40 games in one package. Atari..it's the great gameplay that has kept us interested all these years.

Although I'm not aware of this practice in the states, it could start happening... In Germany the Polizi don't write speeding tickets. They setup cameras with radar. If you speed through an area it simply snaps a picture of your vehicle. In about 2-3 weeks they mail you a ticket with 2 photos-one of your front plate, and one of you behind the wheel. Those ingenious Germans!

With the xbox it really depends on weather you are going to use live or not. Some games like Return to Castle Wolfenstien are great for live, but single player is boring. Others, like Doom 3 are all about the single player and live is not that great.

Great reccomendations so far. I also like Return to Castle Wolfenstien. The single play is fun and the multiplay is great. The number of online games available has started to slow down, but still a fun play for under $20.
