  1. No I connected rf to rf and then tried and connected the composite from G7000 to composite tv. The G7000 only has rf output(internal). The composite was found inside were the rf module connects to the rf module. THe pins you are mentioning. think the red wire is composite and it gives me a 1.1v. white gives 4.9v and black 0.027v I dont have an oscilloscope I measured the ohms of the rf output to 173.
  2. I have this G7000 that used to work but now is completely woithout picture and sound. I have tried connecting to AV channel of my tv set. The pcb has three big ICs( Intel P8048 0046, Intel 8245, Motorola 612192-1). They all get a little warm. There are two 7836 with heatsinks. They get hot after a few minutes. Is that normal? I have checked the three caps on the pcb and they show the value on them. On the output to the rf module I measure 4.7v and about 1v. The psu says 12v when plugged in to the videopac. Any suggestions to what else I can try/check?
  3. I bought my G7000 under ten years ago on a flee market. Actually there where two in the case. I sold the other a couple of years after. Would have been nice to have that one today, as the one I have does not function any more. The three big socketed chips do get slightly warm and the two 7836 regulators get hot and there is voltage on th eoutput to the rf module. But nothing kan be seen on the tv. Anyway, I bought them because I like old consoles and computers and buy them when I find them on flee marked. which is seldom. The G7000 was the first and only conole I played with in the early eighties. So I have some memories related to this particular console. I hadnt played with thisconsole since then. So it was quite fun to find one and this time own one. To bad it doesnt work anymore and cant fix it. So maybe I'll bin it or keep it as spare parts. I will be looking for another one. But they do have become expensive. Btw, like the game sounds the g7000 generates. The games I liked the most was gunfighter and the very simple space invaders. I didnt know it could speak. So cant say anything about that. But sounds like fun.
