  1. I asked Trub for larger SDX versions today. Since ATARIMAX has the option to load .rom files, I'm going to drop the (temporarily born out of need) BOOT-SDX. Users can load SDX with the loader now, theoretical upto 512k images. I'll include your MYIDE2.SYS in the new upload. To answer your question about SDX-only: You can not flash the 512k and put the SDX in the first 128/256k. Simply because the SDX-build uses SRAM in RO mode to select banks, not flashROM. Can SDX use BANKED refered to the SRAM on the cartridge? Blended in at $8000 size $2000 (8k) this would be a powerful update to reduce stock memory-usage. You could configure 256k for SDX run from SRAM and use the other 256k for other uses. Just take care not to use SRAM needed for the MyBIOS. (I'm going to change that to the last 1.25k of the SRAM, instead of the 1.25k directly after the currently 128k reserved for rom-images run from SRAM). Flexibility is all given by the SDX-guys, I only ask Later! Sijmen.
  2. I have a SDX-bootpartition on the MyBIOS with Utilities, CONFIG and AUTOEXEC. That runs fine, there is no need to put all in flash when you have a harddrive The program BOOT-SDX is free, I'll zip and upload it tomorrow. It searches for the SDX string in flash and copies the 128k ROM to first 128k SRAM. Set SRAM to ReadOnly, select bank-0, powersup the CF and reboots. MyBIOS treads the first 128k of SRAM as protected area to run cartridge-images from. Larger versions of SDX are possible of course, need to contact Trub about this. All is done this way to be compatible with the ATARIMAX studio-design Later! Sijmen.
  3. Murphy's law... Version #4 (only changed the R2-rom) -Fixed IDE-disabling for no reason. MyBIOS for MyIDE-II http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7120#p7120
  4. I have a green (hongkong) CF/SD adapter. Seems to work great, using your current MYIDE.SYS driver. Same speed as your screenshot, almost 70 kb/s The MyBIOS will switch on/off the device for you, when you use SIO /A For users that run SDX without MyBIOS, the bootloader switches on the media once. A pity SDX has it's own KEYIRQ so with F2 from cartridge, HELP and other functions won't work.... You need to enter SETUP and select your SDX-CONFIG partition before booting into SDX. Anyhow, looking forward to the new driver.
  5. After INIT in the MyIDE-MENU, you need to formatted it FAT32 on the PC. Copy some XEX-files on it. Then it should work. Be sure to format FAT32, I did a quick format once and had the same issue. Seems that the quick format did NTFS I gues you should use Manual Init to install a APT partition in the MBR for use with SDX/MYIDE.SYS (Default: APT is off)
  6. Version #4. -Full ATARIMAX fat32-loader support. (latest version PRE08S included) -Fixed some cartridge-detection-issues in the R2-rom. -Fixed some issues with the reset-menu. -Added "restart <any> cartridge" when "powerup" is selected. MyBIOS for MyIDE-II http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7109#p7109
  7. Version #3 Added percom-support for D8: ramdisk. Added ATARIMAX fat32-loader support. Fixed some other issues. MyBIOS for MyIDE-II http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6957#p6957
  8. To use MyIDE.SYS with APT, you need to un-remark the line in the config.sys of the original sdx445-myide-ii, CRC the file and then add it to your workbook. Be sure NOT to use OSRAM when you are running the F2-MyBIOS, this will conflict! BANKED works the best for me (on a 256k machine) The loader is universal for SDX 4.45
  9. And for MyIDE-II http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6990#p6990
  10. Update for MyIDE-I http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7070#p7070 If I manage, update MyIDE-II will follow today
  11. Update on MyIDE-II: Steven Tucker included a FAT32-loader http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7053#p7053
  12. MyBIOS-F1/R1 for ATARIMAX 1mb+IDE: Things are looking good (finally). Updates are currently send to / evaluated by the beta-testers. If you want a copy, you can p.m. me. http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7051#p7051
  13. Due to a flue I'm and have been "out" for a few days. Removed the link because problems with cold-starting the R1-rom, further there were no issues I guess. Hoop to be better soon and upload a fixed version end of the week, also F1 will be online then. Hang-on! Sijmen.
  14. http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7040#p7040 New update for MyIDE-I
  15. I'm going to release (very soon) a MyIDE-I version of the MyBIOS. That will have the same functionality as this one, only the additional MyIDE-II support will be disabled. Beside that, the image (packed BIOS) is supported with the latest ATARIMAX Studio-software, so you can (finally) custom build your own flash-content -yeah- Later! Sijmen.

  17. Yeah, MyBIOS fully support PBI-devices. The same routines from the ATARI-REV_2 are Incorporated in the OS. Problem that Marius has with MyIDE-I is the timing issues of weak/wrong signals. For MyIDE-II this should not be a problem since IO is CLPD controlled and not discrete logic. Grtz, Sijmen. P.S. Yes, Marius is right, when you find bugs related to PBI and MyBIOS, I'll fix it
  18. Latest firmware updated, were some issues with VERY slow Micro-drives..... http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1310&p=6957#p6957 Grtz, Sijmen.
  19. I did email you if I could use your 8k rom version and patch it for MyIDE-I and MyIDE-II. And you were OK with that. This not to (perhaps) upset other users, I just mention this. But if you want, I will remove the remark about your permission. No problem. Later! Sijmen.
  20. Hmmm, I thought the production-run is limited to 100 pcs.....
  21. The interface does not need a switch. CF-cards are hot-plug-able. With SHIFT+CONTROL+TAB you get into the RESET-menu and can select the POWERUP-function. Later! Sijmen.
  22. Beside MyIDE-II this should run on any bank-switched cartridge. Enjoy the game :-)
