  1. Update for MyIDE-I http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7070#p7070 If I manage, update MyIDE-II will follow today
  2. Update on MyIDE-II: Steven Tucker included a FAT32-loader http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7053#p7053
  3. MyBIOS-F1/R1 for ATARIMAX 1mb+IDE: Things are looking good (finally). Updates are currently send to / evaluated by the beta-testers. If you want a copy, you can p.m. me. http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7051#p7051
  4. Due to a flue I'm and have been "out" for a few days. Removed the link because problems with cold-starting the R1-rom, further there were no issues I guess. Hoop to be better soon and upload a fixed version end of the week, also F1 will be online then. Hang-on! Sijmen.
  5. http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7040#p7040 New update for MyIDE-I
  6. I'm going to release (very soon) a MyIDE-I version of the MyBIOS. That will have the same functionality as this one, only the additional MyIDE-II support will be disabled. Beside that, the image (packed BIOS) is supported with the latest ATARIMAX Studio-software, so you can (finally) custom build your own flash-content -yeah- Later! Sijmen.

  8. Yeah, MyBIOS fully support PBI-devices. The same routines from the ATARI-REV_2 are Incorporated in the OS. Problem that Marius has with MyIDE-I is the timing issues of weak/wrong signals. For MyIDE-II this should not be a problem since IO is CLPD controlled and not discrete logic. Grtz, Sijmen. P.S. Yes, Marius is right, when you find bugs related to PBI and MyBIOS, I'll fix it
  9. Latest firmware updated, were some issues with VERY slow Micro-drives..... http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1310&p=6957#p6957 Grtz, Sijmen.
  10. I did email you if I could use your 8k rom version and patch it for MyIDE-I and MyIDE-II. And you were OK with that. This not to (perhaps) upset other users, I just mention this. But if you want, I will remove the remark about your permission. No problem. Later! Sijmen.
  11. The interface does not need a switch. CF-cards are hot-plug-able. With SHIFT+CONTROL+TAB you get into the RESET-menu and can select the POWERUP-function. Later! Sijmen.
  12. Beside MyIDE-II this should run on any bank-switched cartridge. Enjoy the game :-)
  13. Gyruss from disk2.atr (16mb) will never work on MyIDE-II. The program writes zero's to D500-D5FF. Messing up the cartridge boot configuration. You need a patched version. Later!
  14. Card-detection is hooked in the HSIO-IDE routines of the MyBIOS. So, yes, the user can hot-swap CF-cards while doing a file copy from SOURCE to DESTINATION disk. IDE/CF-Speed is the same as MyIDE-I, with SDX or MyBIOS. Specs (as far as I know): 512k flashrom 512k SRAM (no battery backup) 8k LEFT, 8k RIGHT, 16k LEFT support (can be flash or sram). 50Mhz CLPD (no real-time clock) Atarimax does the coding of the CLPD and Studio-software. Later! Sijmen.
  15. Yesterday I did a demo at the C64/Atari/MSX-meeting in the Netherlands. Very impressive, great feedback. I will take my proto-type for demonstration to the ABBUC-meeting next week (27th October in Germany). It is not mentioned on the show-list and also not listed for the hardware competition. I will say the word when the microphone goes through the active club-members. Steve told me a small production-run is started. 8k and 16k cartridge support from flash or (read-only) ram is great to have. All updates can be applied via ATR or STUDIO-programming-cartridge. The studio makes it possible to add and customize the 512k flash to your liking. Also I have a working SDX-image with me from the DLT-guys :-) Still need some work in debugging some loaders, but it looks and works great! SIDE-loader / SDX / MyBIOS / 512k RAM on one cartridge......
  16. Found on a flea-market. NTSC/PAL/Sears/Special:PAL Serial # (Ex: #54035V or #007649):82949 MFG Location (Sunnyvale, Taiwan):Sunnyvale (Owner/AA Member), (Location= City, State, Country): Mr-Atari (Sijmen Schouten), Zutphen, Netherlands A/B Channel Slot (Yes/No):Yes A/B Channel Switch (Yes/No): Yes (You have to look good for it) Functional (Yes/No):YES
  17. Use ATARIMAX Maxflash Cartridge Studio :-) http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/documentation/ You do not need the hardware to create flashers. just create your cartridge and use the FILE>EXPORT>ATR and choose the correct atarimax-cartridge.
  18. Thanks :-) The new 4.7.07 MyBIOS supports SDX, APT, FAT32 and MyIDE. Even the intern.char.set is back....... Very cool Happy holidays!
  19. Great!!! Is this for the hardware SIDE or MYIDE> if for SIDE please post mine as I would like to try this new set up. The version here on atariage is for SIDE-hardware. There are also versions for MyIDE (internal and external etc) found on the atarimax-forum. The problem with the image-loader is the same as for all loaders, if it overwrite the source it's a gonner And programs that use OS-ram won't run (there resides the MyBIOS-F), here the only solution is a ROM-version.... Later!
  20. This is a pre-beta for testing here on atariage. Just drop a reply or PM what you think about it. The cartridge-bootmenu default=ON. 64k machines who want to run FDISK, need the config.atr in D1: Setup your CF-card using the MyIDE-MENU: The init routine will detect room for FAT32/APT. Since this is a beta, FAT32/APT/MyIDE-room-resevation is fixed. The rom-image is 512k, contaning the original SDX,SIDE and MyBIOS. Switch must be on SDX to flash the hardware. Altirra SIDE-firmware included. Happy computering!
  21. Sure: Create CONFIG.SYS on drive 1. Put the following commands in it: USE OSRAM DEVICE SPARTA OSRAM DEVICE SIO DEVICE MYIDE Boot SDX and it will configure itself to this very minimal setup. You won't even be able to read AtariDOS format disks. Typing "MEM" at the command prompt will give you the current MEMLO. Try and run FDISK with this configuration. You can then selectively start adding drivers to the config until MEMLO gets too high to be useful. Yep that works for a 800xl, great. I wonder how newbies get by, without knowing this..... MyBIOS-SIDE setup works too. Nice and easy swapping between fat32/myide/apt :-) Later guys!
  22. any help would be welcome. the standaard sdx that comes with SIDE doesn't load FDISK on a 64k machine. so, what to configure? Remember, I'm a noob with SDX
