  1. hehe ok, lets see how this goes. I have joined too
  2. I am a scanlines lover. I always look for that. With my OSSC, I set the scanlines on my consoles hooking up to it.... I can't hook up my 3DO as it is S-Video only (unless it was RGB modded), so I have it hooked up to my sony trinitron. Anyways, just just commenting letting you know that I love scanlines too.
  3. WOW what a nice collection. even that memory unit. I have been looking for a 6 buttons controller but the most affordable I see is the Super NES adater to 3DO lol
  4. Sounds great man, subscribed. Looking forward to this version. Also looking forward to check your other 3DO videos, there is not much love out there for this underrated console, and great to check these.... Specially those rare game versions.
  5. Many Thanks for your words. Yeah, hopefully this is helpful to someone as you said. Other than that, I am happy with the new 240p look on my 3do. Cheers
  6. FIXED It wasn't the mod it self, it was a shortcircuit caused by the PSU shielding touching the console's motherboard. I put a piece of ribbon to isolate, did the mod again....and yeah, I got 240p Sorry for creating an useless post ?
  7. https://photos.app.goo.gl/YBSnAEN4iSydCEQy7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/YBSnAEN4iSydCEQy7 Hi, I tried to do the 240p mod but after doing it, I turned the console on, it gets the 3do logo boot screen and then a black screen. I opened up the console again, and I realized the usb mod (the one you get from MNEMO) was not booting at all. Then I put back the stock cd drive and the same problem. I started sweating cold thinking I screwed up so bad the console (after having invested a lot of money on the console and the usb mod) . Finally, I decided to remove the cables off the VP chip.... and the console booted as normal again, and with the usb mod, as before. I am not technician but I wonder what I did so bad? Everyone says this is an easy mod but didn't work for me lol
  8. Sorry, a bit late to respond. And hello from Ontario. Were you able to purchase one of these usb mods?
  9. Ok, I got the ODE for my 3DO Goldstar. It took like 40 days to come here to Canada and I can say that I am very happy with this device. Plug and play and easy to install. Very recommended mod.
  10. Ok, I ended up ordering the USB mod from Mnemo. He already replied, earlier this week, notifying that he had shipped the device, which made me happy. I have the Goldstar version and apparently it is plug and play. Kind of. I will really see when I get it. Like someone said above, yeah, it is really expensive. Specially when you do the conversion to CAD$... my god. Anyway I paid and I will just enjoy this unique piece of device.
  11. Hi all, was going to open a new thread but found this one, which is not too old still. The developer Mnemo announced on his website that he got more stock for all his products, as of Dec 7, 2018. http://3do-renovation.ru/How_to_buy.htm Has anyone placed an order yet? I filled out a form but I guess it sends me to a waiting list. Not sure how the process works.
