Excellent interview, I quite enjoyed reading it. John and the team at Champ games are so talented. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I put this game in the same category as Robomechanik, another excellent puzzle game that frustrates me to no end. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Any work on bag boy lately? Having worked in grocery stores for 20 years I would love to see this game completed. I've gotten my fair share of shopping carts in the day. Sent from my SM-T727V using Tapatalk

I've been playing Milly and Molly for C64 (7800 wip) and this has a lot of similarities. Very impressed, hoping to play it on real hardware later. Sent from my SM-T727V using Tapatalk

Amazing story and journey. I'm glad to see your on the other side of things and you used them as an inspiration in therapy to keep your mind on other things. I really enjoy your game, I'm sure this community welcomes any new stuff you may produce in the future. As far as not having a cell or anything, sometimes folks wish they could unplug like that and truly get a break from the non stop information overload. I work for Verizon and deal with lots of folks who have gone through journeys like yourself as well as the no phone thing. Your an inspiration to us all, I'd be interested in a cart when they become available. Sent from my SM-T727V using Tapatalk

Updated firmware, DPC+ demo works, select works and shows each display option and controller interacts with demo. Tried other demos (collect2) and they won't work. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Will do, I'll test them this evening sir. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Absolutely love the game, why hasn't anyone made a game like this till now? Love the idea and it's fun to play, look forward to seeing updates. Sent from my SM-T727V using Tapatalk

What would your preferred method of naming would you like for your "versions" of Cribbage. Every release has the same title and I've been uploading them to PlusCart and I'm having to give them like a 1,2,34 type naming to let them know which one is the latest. How would you prefer to name them? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Like it so far, I've never been a fan of the Dragon's Lair games. Visual impressive but frustrated me to no end, guess I'm just odd. The original game you made is quite a feat and shows folks what the 2600 is capable of given talented programers. I love the idea of this one, I'm a huge fan of the Prince of Persia series and love where this is going design wise. Animations are fluid, is there any way with this game to give control to the character versus the Dragon's Lair style as your other game? Left and right movement of the character with the joystick would be amazing. With your current design it feels like a mix between a endless runner and DL hybrid. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Champ Games - RobotWar: 2684 (aka Robotron:2084), 2600

Thanks Andrew, I neglected to mention that [emoji6] Those 3 games I mentioned in particular are ARM games. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -

There's no WIP binaries other than the first one they released for the initial reveal on ZPH. Robotron will not work on anything other than Stella emulator and the Atari 2600 (VCS) via Harmony due to bank switching method used by the game that relies on Harmony to work. Stella is able to get around this by emulation. Other games like Galagon and WoW Arcade will also not work on any of the flashback devices. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
I could try to help, I love your project and think it's amazing but I stink when it comes to role playing games. Even the Ultima games I tried on my C64 gave me trouble, seems arcade style gaming and platform etc are more my thing. Stink because there's a lot of engagement and fun to be had by great games with a story. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I wouldn't due to the need for a joystick to be in the left controller port as well as the right. One directional pad or stick per controller. One controls character direction and the other the firing direction. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
Looks good, can't wait to give it a play when you allow us to. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Chaotic Grill (BurgerTime remake) in progress

I do believe Mattel did the original cart for the 2600 and this game uses DPC+ bank switching so it would use a melody board on a real cart, correct me if I'm wrong. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -

I never played Robotron back when it was in the arcade but played it some via emulation. It's amazing to see this game come life, feels technologically impossible. It's a testimony of the programing prowess of the guys at Champ Games. To start off I went with novice till I got the hang of it, much easier to hit 100k or over with some practice. I'm going to tackle some normal mode next and see how I fair. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
Darn cell connection at home tonight is too slow to watch ZPH. Anyone willing to let me know the big reveal? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Yeah Boulder Dash is 3E and has worked on Pluscart since it's derived from Uno Cart. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I usually use drivesort to get my roms to sort alphabetically on the SD cart and make navigation easier. Is there a file count limit for this program. Working on the PlusCart project I tried to sort the same files we have on the server (over 6,000) on a card to use in my Harmony and even though it says it's sorting them it's not successful. I have found another program called FAT Sorter and that seems to do the trick. I'm using the same 2GB card I've always used and have never had problem. Wanted to see if anyone else has had similar problems or if you have a better solution you folks use to keep things organized and tidy on your carts. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Seems there is a proto of Frostbite called Iceman back when it was under development with Activision. Here's the article/webcast and I've attached the binary. https://2600gamebygamepodcast.blogspot.com/2020/05/ax-031-frostbite.html?m=1http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5eb46192bea9c/Iceman%20%28Frostbite%20Beta%29%20%2807-27-83%29%20%28Activision%2C%20Steve%20Cartwright%29%20%28Prototype%29.zip Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Whoever thinks the 2600 system is dead is wrong, for a system over 40 years old it see as much activity as any of the new systems. In the past few months, maybe sense I've taken the task of maintaining the PlusCart repository I've uploaded over 300 binaries with most of them being current games. I absolutely love the 2600 scene and energy on the forum for such a nostalgic system. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Hadn't tried it on real hardware yet (will later) but plays well on my phone via 2600.emu (Stella fork). It's smooth and reminds me of the into to Flashback or like your inspiration Dragons Lair. I definitely need to try hardware because on my phone the cartoon is so small it's hard to see wants going on. I like the implementation of the joystick decision for choosing your path like DL. I really appreciate this text size and format better than the original. I understand that UnoCarts software is really easy to read with it's larger text. To me this looks way more modern (professional?) and allowing more to be displayed on the screen at one time is important due to the ever growing binary repository on the PlusCart store.
