  1. I've got a slew of packages coming in this week, anyone know what state these come from? Trying to match a tracking number to the product.
  2. Wow caught those just in time, finally snagged one. I got a gold board and new plastic handle for one of my controllers and this will go in my other one. Look forward to testing it out, thanks.
  3. The guy who works on the port also does a bunch of other emus...nes,tg16,neogeo, etc and he doesn't spend enough time keeping the 2600 one up to date. Least hes more current than the retroarch team, that's way out of date.
  4. Mappy runs on my android phone as well as draconian and wizard of wor arcade. 2600.emu for android runs off android 5.1.1 as where the stella plugin for Retroarch is a lower version like 3.1 or something. I play those games on my phone before I got a harmony cart. I had a s7 edge before and now on a Note 9 if that helps.
  5. Ok thanks for the input guys, maybe I'll have my 2600 nodded to give me better hookup down the road. Appreciate your input.
  6. My first console was the 2600 but growing up I did get to play with an original odyssey and intellivision. Later a NES and then a whole lot more up till around 2001. After that my gamer phase took a backseat because of family and kids.
  7. Its LCD, older flat TV that still has composite in. My OG Xbox looks good but the Atari just suffers in translation.
  8. I've got a Sears 2600 light 6 switch that has a composite mod on it. On a CRT it looks perfect, crisp etc, on my flat screen there's ghosting and bleeding a little of colors. If I wanted to improve the image would a composite to hdmi box filter or clean it up some? I've been playing with straight composite but just doesn't feel right. I could go with something like a retron77 but I like to use original hardware. What you guys think?
  9. I went with the regular harmony and not the encore, may regret that down the road when Champ Games starts making bigger roms. I got the SD style cart and have used both a regular SD as well as a micro with adapter and both work well. I have concerns too about constantly loading new homebrews and wearing the spring mechanism on the SD card reader but that will probably be years from now and I'll get an encore. I've been thoroughly pleased with my purchase and its amazing to have all my stuff in one cartridge.
  10. Sure, what kind of questions do you have? A lot of info can be found in this forum as well as: https://harmony.atariage.com/Site/Harmony.html
  11. Amazing work, the homebrew scene never ceases to amaze me. For a system as old as the 2600 it's got a lot of life left in it.
  12. Recently I got a Wico Command controllerthat uses leaf switches and they work decent. Very different than what I'm use to on standard atari controllers. With those switches maintenance seems real easy and the design internally is way simpler than a standard controller at that time.
  13. I'm intrigued, would eliminate clutter and make things easier for people. I know this one is an auction item, interested to see how high it bids too. Would definitely do a buy it now when available.
  14. Sweet Arenafoot, keep me posted.
  15. Seems I've overlooked a lot of the games, both completed and work in progress. Would love for a collection of these be put together for folks to play, loving my new harmony cart and checking out new projects.
  16. What amazes me is the limitations of the system and what choices they made when they designed it. I've been reading through the book "Racing the beam and I'm awestruck at what goes on in the 2600 and even more so when I see some of the homebrew coming out in recent years. Stuff that's way beyond what they originally thought was possible.
  17. I just read through volume 1 and 2 and need to get the Christmas edition. I learned about some new homebrew and look forward to playing them. Thanks for your hard work, look forward to more editions in the future.
