Hellway, an Atari 2600 homebrew with love
Prizrak replied to Octavio Pinho Bokel's topic in Atari 2600 Programming
Multiple attempts with my phone to recognize the QR code and it wouldn't work. Tried different angles to avoid light reflection and my camera app (samsung note 9) usually works. Now that most restaurants are contactless and they have you use your phone to scan a code and look at the menu so I know it works. Hmmmm Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -

I can test it for you, you just want to make sure it gets read by a reader and redirects to your website? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
I watched the unveiling of Movie Cart ™ on Zeropage Homebrew. I don't know all the ins and outs on the hardware shown here: https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqbmZpaWNTSW04bTEtd0tndEQzamprNGFUVWxpQXxBQ3Jtc0tsNTNOVVlfVVc2N1NpVm5HUHJURWtTRzJyNzR6UlV2RGRXanhNRElJWXRwbkl4UWkwNk80VGNxakZPQ2gxU1dSMExqTk9hVEFiQ3ZmeFlZcU5vdWwwUGsyM0M5bWZ4MjRORmlGak0tSFY3X0gxdkM4VQ&q=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Flodefmode%2Fmoviecart But was thinking it would be cool if PlusCart somehow had something like this implemented but folks could host the movie on their PlusStore account or something. Not sure if the cart could handle a stream of data but thought it was a cool project.

@MarcoJ I've said it once and I'll say it again. PitKat is amazing and shows what this humble system is capable of. PitKat and Robomechanik are the two best puzzle homebrews for the system. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Got my box today, game is awesome of course but packaging seems lackluster compared to stuff Al puts out here on AA. However, cartridge, label, box and manual are in theme with what a boxed Activision game would be in the 80s. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
I have a composite modded system but often wonder if I should get another and just use RF. This as well as some other examples give me high hope for a good quality image. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

When is the right time to buy a PlusCart?
Prizrak replied to quohog's topic in PlusCart User's Discussion
No time like the present my friend. PlusCart is ready for prime time and software is indeed past the 1.0 firmware which was a big step. We would love to have you on board and be part of the family. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
Yeah I meant light six for the same, just sears to atari branded top. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I use a av modded sears light sixer, I had a Vader growing up. Same system just different looks aesthetically. Are the parts to the housing interchangeable? Like could I keep my bottom part of the console case and swap the top for another light sixer top but one that's atari branded and not sears? I would think so but wanted to see. That also means I'll need to find someone who has a broken system or shell I can get to swap things out. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Very nice game, like Microsurgeon or Fantastic Voyage but on a smaller scale. Played it for a little this evening and took me a min to figure it out. Great concept, I love seeing games like this that think outside the box and are unique. Look foward to seeing this develop. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Absolutely, as often as I check the forums for rom updates it makes me wonder if anyone is on here as much as I am lol. For those PlusCart users, I got your back. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

My cart will be here Monday, so excited. So ready to play this game. It has all the hallmark traits of an old school Activision game but with some depth and complexity I don't see much on the system. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
[emoji15] I've got some brushing up to do. I played some more tonight, I just plan suck at it. I'll learn the patterns and that will help. Your tips you gave definitely help out. Could I make a smaller manual for PlusCart? I could convert it all to fix on the Atari but that's a lengthy read from the system. Maybe just the gameplay instructions? @DaveM I've been following this project and uploading them to PlusCart so others can enjoy it too. I've been playing your game and quite enjoy it. Read the first manual and it's story is very unique to the game. Wanted to let you want to know I very much enjoy the game and look forward to seeing it published with atariage. I was trying to be funny, guess I failed huh. Seems there's a TV producer by the same name (produced the TV series friends) and the internet confuses them. I've seen pages that talks about David Crane the TV producer and have David Crane of Pitfall as the bio pic. Sent from my SM-T727V using Tapatalk -

Google suggested me search results for David Crane and I can see how Audacity got a boost to get started. Says he has an estimated worth of $200 million [emoji54] https://myhero.com/D_Crane_cvhs_US_2016_ul Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -

Wish I had the cash to pay for the next package up. I'm not a trinket guy but the rom download would have been nice. I'll have to wait for my cart, probably won't be here till Mon/Tues. I think rom should have been included in all packages but maybe I'm alone in that area. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -

For those who have tracking for their package where's it coming out of? Danville, CA? I haven't got an email for shipping but my informed delivery for the postal service as a pre-shipment notification. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
After some testing it doesn't seem to cause a lot of interference. My router to my system is in the next room over. My issues seem to be the PlusCart doesn't like my password that my router uses. I had to set a channel to open with no password and now it connects the first time everytime. My other two carts give me a wifi retry then they work (with wifi password) and the SD would work hardly ever until I removed the password. I'll get signal strength between the two but I think the difference may be like 5-10%. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
