  1. Didn't know where to put this but I guess here is a good enough place to ask the question. I see with the new 36 character kernel shown on zph navigation up and down seems smoother than it does on plus cart. Also when I put in something like a WiFi password the pause between each character being selected is pretty good. Didn't know if when you implement this will the menu and keyboard get any quicker. I would love someday if the keyboard would be shown full qwerty and your can select each letter without a page reload, may be system limitations I'm sure no matter how crafty you get with programing tricks.
  2. Retro games have become so popular indie software companies make a bunch every year for Steam. Someone had the forethought to make retro gaming stores, which are hard to find in my area but I make it work. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. The Atari was my very first game system, owned by my parents before I even knew what it was and handed down to my brother and I as we got older (86-87). I played the system a lot, even after I owned the Vic 20 and then the C64, I still had fun with the old 2600. Fast forward to today and I play playstation, xbox games etc and the realism is crazy as well as the level of gore involved in some games. Atari games remind me not only of simpler times when it comes to being care free as a kid, no internet etc but of gaming in general. I think prefer games that lack realism because they focus on the simplicity of game dynamics. Players when they died did so with a blip and less fanfare of today. Violence is there with the classic games but death in pixels is so different than today. Space ships may explode, characters dying, things being eaten but only for you to hit the button again to attempt to reach your next high score. I appreciate the 2600 for the lack of gore, lack of over the top fan fare. I can play a game for 15 mins or 2 hours and both have the same result. Yes I enjoy a good RPG and spend 3 hours and not realize they had elapsed but the love of being able to pick it up and play it will keep me coming back decades to come. Games of yesterday are a struggle for players of today's generation, maybe I'm wrong. I feel they need a continual dopamine hit of loot boxes, save/check points and engaging story line to get me to enjoy some game time. Arcade games had a level of difficulty which was designed to feed the machines and keep the customers coming back to the arcade. That methodology doesn't work with today like it in yesteryear. Anyone else feel this way? Not just a simpler time but a simpler method of gaming. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. Couldn't help [email protected] I just bought your original Lady Bug for my Atari. Don't know why I hadn't played this game more before now. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. After revisiting your previous version of Lady Bug (played it a few times here and there), I can see the differences. Lady Bug 2006 was not bad and is an excellent game, I can see where your able to add some more bells and whistles to make it closer to the arcade than the original. Thanks to CDFJ you can coax a little more out of the old hardware huh. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Just want to [email protected] that there is something about your ports that I truly enjoy over the arcade verisons. I've played a lot of these in the arcade and then play them via CoinOps on my XBox. Whether it's WOW, Galagon or any of your other titles; the 2600 ports are excellent and are always a choice for me over they're arcade counterparts. Awesome work buddy Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. Picked up a Trooper 2 used from a retro gaming store. Works as advertised but feels kind of mushy in the movement but responsive. Not using dome switches it makes it feel like a woreout cx40. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for letting us play along. I have a love hate relationship with this game. It's such an awesome and simplistic game and yet gets me so frustrated. I'm learning to master the basics and keep pushing myself for a higher and higher score. My 150,000 is nothing compared to some but this game commands respect. [email protected] for making a game that's as fun to play. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. Got the software working finally, downloaded another fresh copy of the 32bit and 64bit Visual packages and uninstalled and reinstalled the Harmony software and it worked. I ran through flashing and stuff with the bios and went smoothly. Tested a few games out from different bank switching types and didn't see any issues. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. Still a no go, I have used two different pcs with windows 10 and installed the Visual C++ libraries required and still getting the error messages asking for required dll's. I'm stumped Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. Does anyone know if the Hyperkin Ranger Adapter works with standard Atari controllers as well as the Ranger? Will this work like a two port quadtari? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. I'll try that again tonight and see if it resolves the issue. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  13. I am running windows 10 and I get all kinds of DLL errors, installed the properly libraries like mentioned in the previous post and same issues remain. Tried for over an hour to solve the issue. I may try another computer and see if that fixes the issue. Going to try and help with beta testing. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  14. Don't have any pics but picked up Secret Quest boxed, Video Pinball, QBert, Enduro, Kaboom and a few other small titles. Hyperkin Premium Trooper, SMS controller for times I want something more modern and a pair of paddles. Have only had my 2600 for a few years and have been missing out not having paddles. I love having a child that appreciates my hobby. She plays Atari with me and just last night was showing her the Matel Merlin, had it as a kid and loved it. She said if she got one for her birthday she wouldn't mind, love it! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  15. My unit is a Sears light sixer and would love to get one of these someday. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  16. That sir is impressive. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  17. I know, just wanted to let you know it was still an issue. Not sure how many other Pluscart owners experience the same problem Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  18. Remember the issue I use to have with my carts where I would have to hit wifi retry a couple times to connect. Problem was fixed for a long time but last several revisions it's reared it's ugly head again. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. Updated sir [emoji106] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  20. Congratulations @Armscar Coder Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  21. @Leonardo Santiago interesting, always funny two see two ideas emerge at the same time. Most definitely keep us updated on this project as well. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. This sounds very much like when I load a game in MAME. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. Looks awesome! Love your old port and looking forward to the update. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  24. Also wanted to mention how the characters images on the player select screen look really good and had no problem telling who was who. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  25. Just the little nuances like the main logo, the character select screen, when your playing the realistic looking moves like upper cuts. Very fluid and looks really good in spite of system limitations. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
