  2. Here it is Microsoft_Basic_II_Support_Disk.zip
  3. I know I have the MS Basic 2 in my stuff. I will find it and ATR the support disk. (unless someone beats me to it!!)

  5. One Ibanez of about 7!! LOL That's about all I play on.
  6. GOS was by a company called "Total Control Systems". I have the original disk of that one. It was a demo and very limited functionality. Found on another site: Yes...I am a guitar player. I have beenj playing since about 1977. I am a headbanger at heart but presently playing in a country band. Check out Crimson Collar Website.
  7. Yes, around '88. It was actually one of the last new items I bought for my 800XL when I use to use it all the time. I purchased it at a Federated store in San Diego. That, and my SpartaDos X and R-Time8 cartridges. Boy, those were the good ol' days, when you could get excited about get your hands on the new gadget for your Atari. Now, I get excited when I get my hands on an 'old' Atari item on ebay that I haven't got in my collection yet. Thing DO come full circle!!! LOL
  8. Looking for an image file for AtariWriter80. I bought the XEP80 brand new when it came out but, at that time in life, couldn't afford to get the new version of AtariWriter to go with it. I fiddled with the handler with DOS and BASIC back then but that was about it. Are there any other programs that utilized the XEP80 worth looking into?? Many thanks!!
  9. MrFish, Many thanks for posting the Diamond files. They work great in Atari800Win. Now to burn the rom image to a ROM and test it out. I also downloaded the ATOS OS. Very nice. Time to build or get a MyIDE interface.
  10. Does anyone know where I can find the binary or rom for Diamond GOS?? Almost got a hold of the original cartridge on ebay but was outbid in the last minutes.
  11. I have plenty of original 8 bit software in the box. I would be more than willing to scan/photograph what I have to add to the files. Let me know where I can send it for posting.
  12. Outside of the upgraded 600XL posted at the top of this post, I also have a 600XL with the 2-chip mod that "Almost Rice" did. The upgrade came from AtariMax and the price was very reasonable. I think the 3 wire locations in AtariMax's version were modified a bit but it works great. I have 3 1200XL's, one stock and boxed, one with a 800XL/BASIC mod in it and one that is going to become the "Frankentari" machine that I am going to go apes**t on. Should be fun!!!
  13. I am working on a couple of Atari XL projects and am looking for 1 or 2 non working XL's. PM me if you have some junk to get rid of.
  14. I have a Power Pad but it doesn't have the cable. Can someone point me to a wiring diagram for the cable so I can make one???
  15. I am looking for a 1200XL keyboard, either the complete board or just the key panel. I have tested my keyboard underlay without the key panel attached and it works fine but most keys are not responsive with the key panel attached. I can be contacted at adambrannon@yahoo.com. Thanks!!
  16. I am interested in any of them. I saw a Jag on Ebay about a month ago that had a ton of mods on it. Looking to accomplish the same thing.
  17. Can someone point me in the right direction for do-it-yourself mods for the Jag?? Greatly appreciated!!
  18. The 800 OS is a 24 pin ROM where the XL is a 28 pin. I think the only way you are going to get the 800 OS in the XL is to get AtariMax's 4in1 or 32in1 OS upgrade. It is a flash rom upgrade that houses up to 32 different 8it OS's in one chip. You select the OS you want by booting while holding the select key down. It will then give you a menu of OS's to choose from and the 400/800 OS is one of them. Once selected, it will continue to boot with the selected rom until you change it. The 4 OS's in the original 4in1 upgrade were: APE Warp+ OS Your standard XL/XE OS A public domain Atari 800 Compatible OS for running those 800 only disks and cartridges Your Standard XL/XE OS w/ Reverse BASIC Feature The 32in1 has an amazing selection of OS's including the 4 above.
  19. I have noticed that the old vinyl covers made for the Atari and other computers seem very popular when found on ebay. I now have the ability to custom make these type of covers with embroidered logos and would like feedback on a couple of questions. 1. Is there a market for the covers if they were available. Who here would like them? 2. What would be a fair price you would pay for a "made to order" cover?? This would include various available colors and the logo/computer/peripheral name embroidered on the cover. Thanks for your input.
  20. I am looking for the following parts for Atari computers. Please IM or e-mail me if you have any of these items to get rid of. adambrannon@yahoo.com

  22. Here are a couple of shots of the upgrade
  23. I have a catalog in my 1200XL box I will look at. It seems to me I have a catalog that shows all the new XL line, including the 1400 and 1400XL. I will try to find it.
  24. Got one myself almost new in box.
  25. Here is a new one. I have a 600XL that I was preparing to sell. I set it up to text it and by chance decided to do the BASIC memory call (print fre(0)) to see how much memory was in it. To my suprise, there is 64K of memory in this 600XL. I then took it apart to see if it was the easy 2 chip upgrade that I did to my other 600XL I am keeping. What I found was a daughterboard upgrade from a company called BOT Engineering. It has 8 4164 dram chips for the upgrade and plugs into 6 of the sockets on the main 600XL board. The locations it plugs into are: U11, U12 - original dram locations U5, U6 - both 74LS158N U2 - Atari #61618 MMU U18 - 74S32N The date on the board is 1983. Has anyone heard of this upgrade?? I have done a search on the I-Net but haven't found anything yet.
