Hi all, Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question. I'm afraid that my lack of knowledge and level of inexperience with this type of thing is going to make problem-solving this issue difficult. I realize that details are needed; I'm just not sure I will be able to provide them. Here is what I do know -- the version of MESS I am using is using the standard TI-99/4A disc controller (disk.bin) which from my understanding only reads sssd floppy disks. Looking in the bios folder in MESS it looks like I have an hfdc controller but I have no idea if that is actually being used by MESS or how to access it. The infocom disks I am trying to read are 180k so perhaps that is the issue. I have attached the Zork disk image I have tried to load. Thanks again. zork1.dsk zork1a.dsk

I am a TOTAL newbie so please be gentle. I've recently begun using the MESS emulator on my PC to play many of the TI99 games I loved as a kid. I've been able to play Parsec, PacMan, TOD, etc with no issues. I have a bunch of Infocom disk images that I downloaded. I never played them as a kid but I'd really like to try them now. However when I try to load them I get an "internal disk error" and they won't load (see screenshot). I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if they just won't work on MESS...? Anyone run into this or have any advice? Thanks.
