Dude that Snoopy is no mere "kids game".
It has to be one of the best 2600 games there is. I'm mostly a collector there are only a few titles I enjoy playing and this is one of them.

Well I need a few more so I can construct a Pacman maze with them. The "rarer" ones will be the power ups and the common ones the dots. I'll get the colorful Atarisoft versions for the ghosts and Mrs Pac Man will be the prize I get to eat !!!

What the hell are you guys talking about?
item sold for $7.00
I could actually use about 100 sealed Pacman but not at $7 a pop.

They are great games and I'd love to have them but whats the big deal about them being sold by Don Bluth?
Its not a prototype model or even serial #0001. How much more would you pay for an average released verison of the Atari 2600 which was in Nolan Bushnells garage? Not a prototype, or the 1st one off the lot just a run of mill average Atari 2600 which just happened to be owned by Nolan.
I don't think it makes that much of a difference. Don't get me wrong here I'd love to have ANY Dragon's Lair machine I'm just not picky about who owned it prior to me as long as they took good care of it.

Ahh just like the Coke Wins.
Maybee I end up keeping it after all. I figured it was an eprom inside all this time.

My Cubicolor felt very light so I opened it up. Inside is a ROM chip. Were all the Cubicolors Roms?

Having collected autographs for years prior to game collecting I can say this. In other hobbies it is "generally" believed that the more valuable the item before the signature the less you should have it signed.
The only expection to this are personal items owned by the signer , works of art and first edition books. With personal items this is often seen as validation. For example a Babe Ruth game used bat would increase in value (very slighty) or stay the same with a signature however the validity of that said signature can be helpful in determining the validity of the bat itself. Now a rare baseball card signed by Babe Ruth would only increase in value if the value of the signature alone was worth more than the value of the card. If the card was actually more valuable than a simple signature the overall value would decrease.
That being said, just to be safe , have him sign a common game. Or print up a nice Quandrun screen shot and have him sign that. Or have him sign a poloroid of him HOLDING your proto shaking your hand. These items sold in conguction with your proto can only increase the overall value. Having him sign a rare piece of Atari history may actually reduce the value in the long run if this hobby follows the suit of those before it.

I don't even collect 5200 software but what the hell.... CPU you talked me into it.

Is it less than $4000I paid somewheres around $500.00.
Any cash/trade offers above that I'll listen to.
CubiColor #30? I'd trade you my 'Pam' multi-cart for that if you're interested.I'll pass on the PAM proto. Unless its a hardware proto or a prototype box I'd rather stick to the released stuff. The software is too hard to determine if its "the real deal" or not. I'm not saying your isn't I'm just saying I've given up collecting Atari software prototypes.
Also I have an Adventurevision w 3 of the 4 games I'd like to part out if anyone cares.

I have #30 if anyone wants one badly enough to deal with the slowest trader alive.

I picked a loose one at this years Phillyclassic for $1 as well.
I don't think $30 for a loose 7800 is a steal by any means. I guess the Double Dragon is worth a few bucks but that lot seems to have sold for about what its worth.

I think it all else fails you can just ask Jason to deliver it in person

Thanks for the interest guys but I got all of these on ebay paying well basiclly top dollar. If I was lucky enough to get them for 25 cents each I'd be willing to sell them for a good price but I only paid top dollar because whenever someone has something I want they often refuse to sell it. They just want trade. So I stock up on this type of item reguardless of price and thus find myself in the same boat at those I'm trying to get the upper hand on.

Ahh I think this is an Ok place for this.
If there was a hot Yahoo auction would you not post that here because its not an eBay auction? Of course you would post it here.

I have atleast 4 loose ones. They make good tradebait so I don't mind holding on to them but if you have a complete copy in good shape I'd be happy to send you 4 for 1.
Or 3 for just the box and instructions since thats really what the deal comes down to anyway.

Hmm anyone wanna trade a complete copy for 4 loose ones?

I think the day of the 500 Quadrun is over. It may go back up in the future but for now its where it belongs.
Adam

I dunno about that CPU
If you have $ and want one he will be happy to sell you one.

Imagine if those sealed cases had not been found. How rare a find like this would be.
Adam

Ever since Atari Age dropped the rarity from 10 the price has dropped steadily.
Why don't we list all rare games as 4s and common games as 9s for 1 year then after we all sell our Froggers and buy our Quadruns we bring the rarities back where they belong.

Ohh no its the dreaded double post ghost.

Ohh so it ISN'T NEW. It either is new factory sealed no one outside of Atari ever touched anything outside the shrikwrap OR its complete. In this case its JUST complete. God these people drive me nuts. Watch the winning bidder find a Kellog's corn flake stuck to page 4 of the instructions.
