SWEET all mine are sealed.
If I sell them all I'll have enough to buy....another sealed atari game of mediocre rarity.
When did boxed atari games hit the ceiling?

I can't find the thread but I think someone was asking about the guy selling the 5200 protos which were pulled.
His ebay tag is salestuff1

This brings up a good question.
I know 2 different copies of Video Life sold for 3k each.
Is 3k the most ever spent for an Atari 2600 released game? Anyone hear of a title selling for more? Did Air Raid sell for more?

Anyone know of any dealers with quantity of new Activision titles?
There was someone from PA who had Pitfall and a few others for $10 or so. I ran into them at the computer show that Tom Zeba from Tomorrows heros in Cleveland Ohio puts on every year.

If it came in one big huge lot I'd be interested but individually it just doesn't do it for me. Don't take it the wrong way I'm sure you will get a few bids I wish it was in one huge lot with a low min bid and no reserve.

Yes, but the seller is intentionally being vague in his description in the hopes of getting "sky's-the-limit" pricing on his FAKE/Repro cart - that's just plain dishonest. This is why every respectable person who makes repros HAS to mark the repros as such. You can't tell who will end up with them.

Ohh those Xante carts.
Booo!!!

Why would anyone want a dead anything besides the occasional ex-wife or in-law ?
We have this crazy old man who comes in our store every other day or so. He buys systems from time to time but buys cords almost every time he comes in. Problem is the cords he buys won't work on any of the systems we know he has. He insists he will fit in there and buys them anyway.
Sometimes he will explain how he was able to hook up his Saturn to the Playstation and now he can play Xbox games with his new hybrid system.
That wouldn't be you would it?

Adam, sounds like case closed for you. You get the crownsat least temporarily, until someone dethrones you. Congrats

The most I spent on ebay on a single item was $2626.00 for an unreleased Atari 2700 system.
The most I spent on ebay for a collection of things was 10k
The most I spent on a single item outside of eBay was 4k

If you want to bid on the Waterworld click here

You don't need to log into the German ebay. Log into the US ebay and pull it up by item number then you can bid.

I am trying to find the website for you.
I think it was called "System Faliure" or something along those lines.

I know this person and he asked my advice at varius stages which is how I know about it. In a way he did brag about it and posted pics etc and yes, there were some other issues which may have brought on the hammer of Nintendo. Still the fact that it did happen should be taken as a warning to all braggarts of Nintendo property.
It may be documented on his website or atleast talked about in the forums but I am not certain.

Ya know a person who had resident evil 1.5 was forced by Nintendo to surrender the cart PLUS legal fees of 4k. I guess it didn't help that he hung up on them when they first tried to contact him about it. Be carefull what you ask for

That guy with A.C. has been emailing alot of people. Must be looking for the best price I'm guessing. Anyway, N64 protos are quite rare anything less than $100+ for a released title and you got yourself a nice deal.

Its been a while since Magicard sold for 2k a few have sold recently for less. Have you been charting the sale prices? I know you were doing this with a few others.
Adam

Wow guys, thanks for the support.
I was expecting to get some flak for the prices I was willing to pay on these. I do appreciate the kind words esp from those who I may have outbid in the process. That takes some class.

How about a sears picture label?

I'd rather have a prototype box than eprom anyday.
I'm quite happy with the results.

As games get older replacing chips will become more common. To me original chips aren't as important as original cart and most importantly original paperwork.
