  1. Never seen that before.

I ship US only with the exception of the Ebay's global shipping service. Few buyers ever use it because it costs them a fortune but it stops people from asking if I ship overseas.

You ship to Ebay in the US and then Ebay repackages and ships to them.

  2. No idea. Honestly I think I backed up a disc one time total. I had a PS1 prototype with scratches that wouldn't load and so with some online help at Assembler I made a copy and somehow that copy worked. That might have been 15-20 years ago.

  3. Not too long ago there was an eBay auction for an Atari advertisement in Dutch that included alternate box artwork for Night Driver, as well as Golf (plus the original artwork for Maze Craze):

Perhaps there are promotional boxes floating around that used the alternate art.

Never see that 3D Tic Tac Toe cover before.

Pretty sure the most one of these blue ones has ever sold for was $10k. That one was pretty much mint condition too just so you know. That sale involved an established and reputable seller to a high end collector. Not many people with the scratch to buy one of these out there. Conbine that with the fact that one sold in recent years taking said buyer out of the running as well. Best of luck with your sale. I hope you trying to get near double the highest ever sale price doesn't turn away any potentially interested buyers. The ones with the big bucks tend to get turned off if they think sellers are being too greedy.

    What’s wrong with you?

  5. In this day of BINs it is rare to see bidding wars anymore

I wonder how many AA users are hidden below in this word puzzle.

Fun to watch these things happen live but even better back when we could see the names.

  6. Npzman they're holding out on you try harder they'll eventually sell you some.

Haha. Dream is going to kill you.

    Way to stir the pot.

Imagine doing this in real life. You run into someone from an old job or at school that you haven't seen in 7 YEARS for something that they may have had back then. Then when they say "No" track them down and just keep on asking. They would call the police on you.

  7. Adam, I have pretty much every Sega ad they ran during that period and I've never seen either of those used anywhere. They must have been intended to advertise the "Double Bucks Back" rebate offered by Sega and Wico in late 1984 (as seen here and here). If you're ever willing to part with any of those, let me know.

There were images that I did not post because I found the published versions including one that was published in a comic book.

So that might also be a possibility for those not yet found.

  8. Yep, that explorer dude is totally from the Congo Bongo ads (and you give him a hot foot at the end of each round of levels). I'm kind of curious about the context surrounding the monkey throwing money around though.

My guess was some type of rebate offer from Sega. With both $5 and $10 bills shown it could have been a multi-tiered rebate. Buy this and get back $5 buy this and this and get $10 back etc or $5 back for every Sega game you buy etc.
