    In regards to the JTAG option, It indicates for developers. Can you conform that if one does not have the JTAG they can still update the firmware?

    You can add the SIO2UNO to any of the UNO boards used in the design. you would have to redo the wiring. Also I meant SIO2UNO above not SIO2SD (that's what I get for half paying attention)

    Be careful replacing the cart connector on a Jag, it's super easy to delaminate the board.

    I always forget how much some of these 3D print items cost if you have them printed by an online service, lowest I could find was $75. It very well could be time for me to invest in a 3D printer.

    With your soldering experience I would say that as long as you are aware that we the beta group is happy to help troubleshoot, but ultimately you are on your own if the board doesn't boot up then go for it. The main thing is to go slowly and triple check your work.
