  1. wooof, I didn't notice that, it just appeared in my alerts.
  2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/ATARI-RAM-1064-For-600XL-Vintage-Home-Computer-/124451577654?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
  3. Oh I get it, I just know the last one I saw went for $200 which seemed excessive to me
  4. Excellent, good to know! I'll make sure to update both my eclaires before I get my Fujinet.
  5. Would probably be easier to upgrade internally than finding a 1064 for a decent price.
  6. In the US a NTSC machine would be preferred unless you aim to run a bunch of European demos and a small handful of games that rely on the differences in timing. A PAL machine might give you difficulty in finding a compatible display (Although adding a Sophia might mitigate this, I have to say I am not as familiar with that upgrade.) As for a fully socketed board that just means the chips are in sockets rather than soldered direct to the board. getting one with sockets makes it easier to upgrade but not insurmountable.
  7. without scrolling back through the pages of information, has anyone used a Fujinet with an Eclaire?
  8. Bit the bullet and purchased a copy. It looks amazing in person. Glad I got one.
  9. I have Atari Blast on one of my Atarimax carts and it will likely always be on it. One of my favorite games.
  10. 400s have become a lot more popular for some reason in the last 5 years. This having a full keyboard and probably a video mod and memory upgrade makes $212 about right.
  11. Probably be easier and more cost effective to make a new cable.
  12. Things are a lot closer on this board for sure, I am being extra careful but I had a couple bridges already.
  13. Can you make one for the dual sio version? I have one around here somewhere I could send you
  14. I will be getting one if I do so I can connect to a monitor that doesn't have sVideo in.
  15. The question remains if I should get the PRO or the Mini... I will only be needing Svideo for the Atari 8 bits.
  16. Well after all the great reviews of these products the last few messages have made me hesitate to buy one of these products.
  17. I wish, have to buy it here in the US
  18. or at least a replacement that works properly.
  19. Great to hear Robert!!! (well not the train wreck part)
