  1. If anyone with an original Intellivision or Intelivision II wants it, lmk [FS] RTO cart (5-11under version) with box and manual for original Intellivision and Intellivision II International shipping rates would eat up a good chunk of a refund.
  2. SOLD $150 shipped in USA Technical details of this cart located in this thread RTO - my "production" take on the multicart I am selling this cart because it does not seem to be compatible with the Super Pro System or Sears Super Video Arcade revisions of the Intellivision console. I have confirmed that it does work on the Intellivision II and others have confirmed working on the original Intellivision. Since I cannot use it on my SPS or SSVA, I am re-selling to just get my money back and cover shipping charges. Please PM me with any questions. I have not sold anything in this forum, but my eBay feedback is flawless (ID Mattyv316).
  3. @aotta if you need someone with a Super Pro System or Sears Super Video Arcade, let me know. The 5-11 RTO does not work at all for me on these 2 consoles. I would love to test a PiRTO
  4. I have to agree with @Crash7. I jumped on the chance to support all the hard work, and loved the idea of being able to get a ROM cart for our beloved INTV. Super disappointed to see it abandoned so quickly when it never worked for the 2 systems I use.
  5. I agree with @Crash7 I have a Super Pro System that I am seeing the same behavior on. I cannot even get the rom selection screen to display properly. It shows the same garbled screen as other roms I try to load. My Sears Super Video Arcade can get the rom selection screen to display correctly, but the farthest I can get is only some roms will get to the title screen and then just reset to the title screen when I try to start them (same behavior as @sfish video clip). I do have an Intellivision II that I can get the RTO to work on, but not the SSVA or my SPS, and I have tried many delays.txt values. Another thing to note is that I have tested LTO and Backbit carts on these systems, and both work fine. Has anyone been able to successfully use the RTO on a SSVA or SPS?
  6. @Crash7 I am having similar issues with my Super Pro System, but have not had time to test the delay.txt settings. I thought it was me at first too, but you having the similar problem makes me believe the Super Pro System is the common denominator. I also tried the RTO on my SSVA and I get the game title screen, but just keeps resetting to that when I try to start a game. Like I said, I still need to play around with the delays file
  7. @tanuki Please update my request to 2 controllers and 2 Inty 1 adapters. And thank you for the update. Really looking forward to trying this controller out.
  8. Sorry for my confusion. I was thinking about when you removed the resistors. I remembered it was when you were installing the v3, but forgot it was when you removed the resistors. My bad
  9. Ok, so I had a little time to play around with this more. @the_crayon_king yes changing to Y as sync fixes the weirdness I was seeing on the 5X and OSSC. Orange Peel seems to be working as well as Baked Potato v5 for me now. Thanks for that pointer. As far as my install with Gen 2 pinout, I did a little more testing using Orange Peel and my SCART cables. I have 3 Retro Access scart cables I was testing with. The first was a standard Genesis 2 cable that was converted when I had my first Fed K mod installed. This cable had caps removed and points bridged as well as the resistor shorted so there is no attenuation on the board of the cable. The second cable is a standard, unmodified Genesis 2 scart cable. The third cable was a Genesis 2 cable ordered as a generic RGB mod cable from RA. This basically matches the 8-pin mini din cable they sell for generic RGB mods, but with a 9-pin mini din on the end. Baked Potato and Orange Peel only work with the cable #3. I do not get any video when using cables #1 and #2 (even if I use the resistor bypassed RGB points on OP board). Cable #3 is the cable I have always had hooked up, so to me, I never had an issue using the Crayola mods. I can see why @-^CrossBow^- failed to get video when using the 9-pin at first. It depends on how the cable is setup. Here are a couple pics of the top and bottom of the 3 cables and their boards. @the_crayon_king, I completely understand that you support the 8-pin mini din install. It simplifies the application and removes problems that can be had by using the Genesis 2 mini-din, so I am not posting this info expecting any changes in your mods to accommodate the different 9-pin possibilities. I am just posting this info for anyone that may find it useful or interesting.
  10. @the_crayon_king I moved sync to the Y pad of Orange Peel as suggested and that solved my issue using the HD Retrovision component cable on the OSSC. Thanks for the suggestion. Do you see any problem with me leaving it connected this way?
  11. Yes, I usually have sync from the board go to sync and composite video of the mini-din. That is how I had all my Fred K board wired, so I did the same when I installed all the Crayola mods.
  12. I tested so many combinations, that I do not remember if I tried hitting reset when I saw distortion on the 5x. Will need to re-test with that suggestion, thanks. As for the Baked Potato v5 with HD Retrovision, I did not have any expansion. I just hooked the v5 directly up to the min-din 9 the way I always do and it seemed to work.
  13. I was able to install an Orange Peel board last night in my SSVA, so I can compare it against the Baked Potato v5 I have in my Intv III. I took a bunch of pics, so I just zipped them and attached. Too many to embed in the post. The 2 devices I tested with are the RT5x and the OSSC. Inputs I tested are SCART and Genesis 2 HD Retrovision component cables. Install was done with a Genesis 2 9 pin mini-din Here are a few notes: Baked Potato Rt5x * SCART looks good * Genesis 2 HD Retrovision Component: Looks good, but will occasionally have distorted colors on occasional resets (See pics) OSSC * SCART looks good * Genesis 2 HD Retrovision Component: Looks good Orange Peel Rt5x * SCART looks good for the most part. Did notice the occasional distortion in the upper right on some games (See pics) * Genesis 2 HD Retrovision Component: good for the most part. Some games have distorted colors on boot, but was able to get it to look normal by hitting reset a couple times. (See pics) OSSC * SCART looks good * Genesis 2 HD Retrovision Component: OSSC screen recognizes the component input, but no display on TV BP - OP - RT5x - OSSC.zip
  14. Perfect. Thank you for the quick response
  15. I ordered an updated v5 board for my SSVA and wanted to see if I could have RGB connected as well as component. I was thinking of using the channel selector for the component switch/selector. Has anyone tried this configuration, or see any problems with it?
  16. Easiest way I found is Rad2x. Using Crayola's RGB mod to Genesis 2 9-pin mini-din. Then Genesis 2 Rad2x to HDMI. If I want a sharper picture, I'll use RGB out to scart then use ossc or RT5x. The Rad2x is just the easiest and gives a pretty good picture.
  17. It's not. I didn't imply, or intend to imply, it was competition. If it sounded like that, I apologize. I'm just excited to see the INTV finally working on all these devices.
  18. To update all, @the_crayon_king sent me a v5 board with his latest code changes for me to test on the RT 5x. I was able to install it today and my testing produced great results. To start off, my 5x still had fw 1.29. I tested games via LTO and typical carts. There was no shaking video on the 5x at any time. I was even cycling through all the different output resolutions and never saw any video hiccups. After that, I decided to update the 5x fw to the latest 1.55 and everything continued to perform as expected. From what I have seen, this is the best RGB mod going for the INTV right now. With the latest code, it works with XRGB, OSSC, RT 2x-Scart, Rad2x, and now the RT 5x Pro. Thank you for all your hard work Crayola. your persistence paid off.
  19. I have not yet. Will probably get to it one evening this week. I will update, but not keeping my hopes up.
  20. I have a composite mod board on order and will add that in to wire it up to the composite sync of the genesis 2 port. I am really just interested to see what happens. If it doesn't work, I am still very happy with the OSSC output and the flexibility to be able to use the Rad2x.
  21. On the 5x front, I already got a reply from Mike Chi. He was awesome at replying very quickly. He is unable to provide the original fw version to downgrade to, but did tell me that the 5x is looking for composite sync. It looks like I would need to also install a composite mod board and wire that to the composite pin out on the Genesis 2 connector.
  22. @the_crayon_king Sorry, the mostly works was just a reminder for me to test the LTO more. At first I didn't see drop outs on your previous revisions, but once I tested more, I started to see them. Right now, your latest revision seems to eliminate the drop outs on the 2xScart, but I want to test more. I cut testing the 2xSCART short so I can test the 5x more.
