  1. Is there a trick to getting the .rom files to play? The .xex versions work although sometimes I have to change to 800XL or 130XE to get them to run right. However, the rom for Fast Food goes to Memo Pad if machine type is 400, but goes to a Self Test screen if set to 130XE. I also tried changing the .rom to .c02, with the same result (I have no idea if this is a cartridge image that needs a change like this).
  2. I bought a newer Logitech Unifying Receiver, one with "Logi" instead of "Logitech" written on it. It doesn't work either. When my K780 is connected to my computer, in Logi Options "Logi Unifying receiver" is black and selectable, while "Logi Bolt receiver" and "Logi USB receiver" are both gray. When I put the dongle in the 400 mini all options are gray and can't be selected. Can anyone with a working Logitech setup please tell me what they're seeing on their Logi Options screen?
  3. I was able to finish the game with no ECS or Intellivoice attached. Maybe a conflict with one or both of those components?
  4. Also - my K780 is from 2018. Did they maybe change receiver tech so that new ones work and old ones don't?
  5. Could you tell me more about what isn't working for you? I'm not sure what you mean by "bolt or standard non unifying dongle".
  6. Getting a new unit didn't help. I returned the original and received a replacement today, and it also will not work with the K780 or K400r or K400+. Three wireless keyboards and two 400 Minis and no combination of console, usb dongle port, or keyboard model works. Double checked my A500 mini and it just works right away. Shame this doesn't. In fact, through all my experimenting, I'm finding that putting the Logitech dongle, or a wired keyboard, into Jack1 and the Joystick in Jack4 causes problems. I can use the joystick to select games, but then the stick stops working in the game. I can back out to home and the stick works again, but only for the carousel. This happens to both the 400 minis I currently have. Is there a problem with the USB in these systems?
  7. Has anyone had Raiders of the Lost Ark lock up on them? Twice now I've gathered lots of items and made it the lower mesa or map room and Indy just locks up and won't move. I can select items, and the flute will play, but I can't progress in the game and have to reset. I'm playing on an INTV-II with ECS and Intellivoice attached.
  8. I also have a K400 and a K400+ that I tried, each with their own receiver that I know works on PCs. None of them work with the 400 mini. Is this a defective unit? I don't know how a USB port would work for joysticks, keyboards, and thumb drives but not for all these wireless keyboards.
  9. I've tried my K780 with unifying receiver indirectly through a switch that goes from wireless to wired USB connections to multiple devices and the 400 can't see it. I've plugged the receiver directly into the 400 and that also doesn't work.
  10. I use a Logitech K780 keyboard that is wireless to a relay and then USB-A to a PC, and this setup works great for my A500 mini so I just use the one keyboard for A500 and for my PC. I figured the same setup would work with my new 400 mini, but it doesn't. I need to plug in a full USB keyboard to be able to type. Has anyone had success with wireless keyboards on the 400 mini?
  11. Tonight Papa Pete said roms were starting to be sent out.
  12. Definitely - I found myself watching the clouds more than the jumping!
  13. I think the initial purchase is just the cartridge. ROM only comes if sales of 100 are reached.
  14. I'm using Nintellivision a lot on a road trip and am very impressed with the stability. The save states are working great which is crucial for playing a bit and then setting aside for other vacation stuff - I haven't had any corruptions or other issues.
  15. I installed 5.0, working well! I can confirm the ._ files are now hidden, thanks!
  16. I had the same experience! I honestly thought it was supposed to be that way, it did help at the end when I didn't need to buy any more gear and could spend my money on reincarnation.
  17. I'm getting there as well. It's the overlays that convinced me. It's a step up from roms on real hardware where I don't have overlays.
  18. Great if it's not too much trouble. The files are actually starting with ._ (period underscore).
  19. I believe they're unused MacOS resource forks for files. I just checked and I can use a terminal to find and delete them without affecting the game, thanks.
  20. Another question. In my list of roms each file has a duplicate title preceded by ._ that I believe are supposed to be hidden files. Am I seeing these because I moved roms over on a Mac? Can these be hidden by Nintellivision?
  21. The graphics, sound, and design on this are just top-notch, it really captures the gameplay of the original and even exceeds it. Remember in the 80s when the cartoon had to be called "The Real" Ghostbusters to avoid conflict with some other cartoon? This game is the real Ghostbusters.
  22. You can add me to the list of Unlauch successes! Thanks again for the info.
  23. For editing or creating the overlays, is there any way to identify in the .s file that comes out of grit.exe where the palette block is? The overlay instructions say "Go to the bottom of the file where the pallette stuff is and change the block of .hword lines and replace every .hword with .pal". There are more .hwords that also need to be changed to .maps, so I'm not sure which .hwords I need to change to .pal.
