my jaguar has been sitting for a couple of years and i just got it out and now all of a sudden i can't get a picture. The unit powers up, and all the cables are hooked up to the tv, when i power on the game, the screen flickers, but i still get white static, on both channel 3 and 4. Anybody know what could be the problem?

Try switching the switch on the back of the jag, its not a channel switch, its says H and L if i remember right...

I am letting one of my jags go. It hasd all hookups, works and looks like new.

For trade I am looking for the following:

Atari 7800 system

All sorts of NES games

Atari carts

A Good famiclone that does not blink!

Game Gear carts

Intellivision system w/some games

Really really in need of a 2600 controller adapter for 5200

I would also be willing to add some cash to the deal and half trade half sell it to you for a good working atari lynx II.

Ok, firstly, do the obvious checks:

Have you got a game in (remember jags dont turn on without one)?

Have you got the correct ac adaptor plugged in (the wrong one can blow up a jag)?

Does tha ac adaptor actually work (test with your other Jag or a multi-meter)?

Then do the next most obvious thing which is to search this forum (there's a link right up there), as this question gets asked exceptionally often (hell there's even a sticky about one possible cause of Jag-death).

I am in good old stratton. but right now i am at a family reunain in ny. And i think i have found a person who sells vintage games for dirt cheap. A lady at a thrift store told me there is a women who sells them out of her trailer for next to nothing...now i just need to find her...shady..

The best thing to use folks and I got this info from these boards is WD-40 I found it works better than ANYTHING! It not only cleans but protects.

I use it all the time, just be sure to let it dry after. Also does anyone know what i shoud use to clean the 72 pin in my nes? same thing?

I juts got little nemo again, what a fun game. and TGL is also awesome, but pretty hard. and the lightgun game To The Earth was again hard but one of the few good good lightgun games.
