Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

An upcoming release? I'll camp outside of my computer for it, since Tower Records isn't around anymore (and the rest of them are shut down as "non-essential")! -

I think that modern 4K or "retina" displays will kind of render the old CRT vector tubes obsolete. Imagine a neon type of graphical animation with curves on top of angular edges, and cross hatching, stipple & pen & ink sharpness in hundreds (or millions) of colors to add depth and detail, instead of just empty lines of only 8-16 colors. -

Can I start my wishlist on this? A 10" flatscreen with a MS Surface type table stand and a paper white type matte finish to the glass... this appears extra sharp to the eyes. A gray filter over the screen to cancel out the "not really true black" appearance of LCD monitors. A deep enough casing to provide adequate bass in the 3 channel DTS speaker system. Also mini plug & Bluetooth for my own speakers. Clicky joystick controllers that can somehow be recharged on the back of the unit. The New Geo Mini has very nice looking 4 button thumbstick controllers. Perhaps take inspiration from them. Oh' yeah! Whatever this color of Bimmer is, the Vectrex should have as an option. Or better yet. Build the Vectrex into the Bimmer's dashboard screen system! -

Health issues or not, he's still an obnoxious dick! If my niece was dying of cancer, would you think it'd be ok if I took it out on you, if you said she hit your son at school? -

That one is still being built, as is the new Guardians coaster at EPCOT. But that replacement to Rock N Rollercoaster may be put on hold even after the license with Aerosmith ends. Maybe they'll get INXS and keep it open. -

Good. Then you won't have to bomb 2 of your rivals by making a deal to plant one in one's wheelchair. Editing: I never saw one in the wild, but I'd be very interested in you reviving it, as long as IE makes new games for it & uses a controller that is close to the old one. Pat: But Ian! We already have the Switch! Ian: That %&^%$^!%(&%($($*^@#&%!&^($&A%^%#E$#$^@$*$( &*(%$&*!$^(@%$(*@#^#@!!!!!!! Good job Buddy! -

It is the oldest Six Flags park in the chain. They own 16 parks (and right now, none of them are open or making a dime). SF filed for bankruptcy in 2010 after the big recession. I don't see how they can avoid another one after this. They're not diversified or full of money like Disney or Universal. There's was a report that even Disney is hemorhaging money daily and has cancelled the building of some new attractions set to open in 2022 & beyond. I hope we don't lose our theme parks. -

I have a very serious and delicate question I hope I can cope with in life, and avoid pain and despair. It too forever to get past Moonsweeper level. How long will I have to stay a Dragonstomper? I'm already bored with it. -

Umm... "Republic CEO Chuck Pettid added that video games was the most requested new area for investment among its users, which was a driving factor behind the acquisition... "Over 95% of all VC-funded companies have male founders," said Pettid. "Over 85% are white. Great and innovative ideas can come from anyone, regardless of gender, race, and location. More than half of the campaigns featured on Republic have come from underrepresented founders. Chuck Pettid, Republic "In the past few years, the tech and video game industry has pushed the diversity message, but not enough is being done. We will look for great games, from both big and small developers, to work with and those games will come from founders and teams that represent our world." " ...But let's not start with him. 🤔 -

" "It's the sound of 10 users completely destroying your arguments." It would've been 11, but I was too busy trying making up a joke about the straight boy made up nightmare called fudgepacking. Not my best work. 🤔 -

They make a bluetooth arcade stick for many iPad games. My version of Galaga series works with it. -

Ironically, I have the 4 Galaga game collection on my iPad. It came out about 2011. Galaxian, Galaga, Gaplus & Galaga 88. I do get the point though. It's always an arcade game no matter what device it's programmed to work on.
