  1. I doubt it will last for a full 20 hour marathon session of a Dragon Age RPG... but then it's not that kind of system. Controller ran out of juice? Then go outside and get some sun and eat something at this thing called a kitchen table for once!
  2. Tommy has already said he's got VCs and investors secured and funding the project. At this point the "if" question is more "Do I believe him, or is he full of shit?" It's not my place to answer that. Only your wallet can.
  3. That, and my Boxwine addict aunt would run the risk of spilling wine all over the game board talking about her husband not satisfying her needs.
  4. Personally I'm fine with a slight increase in price. Top price when it was announced was $179, so at $225 it's a less than $50 increase above what was originally announced. Learning over the last year about what it could do, and the controller designs and other things Tommy "can't talk about right now, but you'll be amazed, shocked and tantalized... But wait! There's more!", then a price increase of $50 not only seems justified, but entirely reasonable. I've been struggling finding meaningful and well paying work recently, so I most likely can't justify a founders edition for myself if I have to pay full price next month. I'm just starting a new job next week, but I can save up to buy the regular edition in October.☺️
  5. Don't worry. I'll cover you for a small fee of... One Million Dollars!
  6. And then make you go into a jaguar cage at the zoo to get it.
  7. Personally, those you designed look lightyears ahead of the original Mattel controllers & far more comfortable, and I can't wait to feel one up.... Not that way!😡
  8. I'm Irish and a stereotype hothead. So I have to go outside where it's cold and wet to laugh it off. Then someone asks for directions, so I say "You see that street over there? Well, don't take that one, It'll do you no good!"
  9. Not exactly! French Canadian ! Ugh! You Canadians! Who told you that you were allowed to make your bacon round?😡😜
  10. Well that's clearly a total load of crap. Just me alone got into a snot-fest about The Walt Disney Company with Tommy & a mod stepped in, and a smaller side jab about Math Fun. I'm still here posting away and I get a free Hockey game too! So There Pablum Fiasco! 😜
  11. I only responded to that, Beefy, because it seemed a bit too paternalistic and authoritarian for a forum filled with fully grown Gen Xers.
  12. And you are the elected arbiter of where a conversation goes exactly how?
  13. Never held or used a Switch, but considering so many non Android/IOS devices have crappy interfaces, I don't doubt it.
  14. This reminds me of Nissan hyping up their new luxury brand in the late 80s. For 6 months, all we saw was this, without ever seeing the car. At least we know what the console and controllers look like here.😃
  15. An Idea Tommy. Instead of just remaking Atlantis, perhaps rethink an entirely new game so it's not Missile Command in Mythos. How about a Crossbow type game (without the gun). Like Lemmings, dozens or hundreds of Atlanteans are fleeing to the "Cosmic Ark" to escape the flooding and sinking of the city. Where the aliens are dismantling buildings, bridges, pathways to hinder their escape, and a few aliens who are graboids (Thanks Tremors LOL) to kidnap the Atlanteans. A single gun per player, in the bottom that follows a free roaming target sight that fires a fireworks type expansive explosion like Missile Command... but the goals are to protect the pathways, shoot down graboids to let the kidnapees fall back down on the paths & get as many escapees onto the ark as possible before the city sinks. Round has to be repeated if less than 70% reach the ark. Or you can do just a couple of guys with guns in togas shooting down enemies trying to sink the city, with a play mechanic like SNES Wild Guns or Neo Geo 'Nam 75.
  16. If I recall from my 80s memory, it was a portmanteau of Imagination and Magic that formed the name.
  17. Well it's my guess/understanding from Tommy's Amico announcement talk in Portland in 2018, that Intellivision Tracked down the owners of Imagic's old IPs (including unfinished games like Wing War), and has pledged to reimagine as many as possible. Really, only the CEO does know for sure what Imagic games they're allowed to reimagine and which ones they either can't re-do or won't bother with. Luckily he's here talking with us almost every day. Which brings me to another question... The rights to Imagic games should also include Atari 2600 exclusive games like Trick Shot, Quick Step & Shooting Gallery as well. Can we see a possible Amico future for them? And one final question. Is it pronounced Imagic, as in Imagine, or iMagic as in iPod? I always thought it was the short "I" like imagine, imagery or improvise, but I heard it from many people say it with a long "I" like an Apple product.
  18. Nice list, Cyclone! I think Dragonfire, Safecracker & Wing War are in with the Imagic list.
