  1. Merry Christmas to you Alpha, and everybody else I got to know in this discussion!🎅
  2. Hey Tommy, I got a subject that isn't addressed my most corporate content providers that I recently found to be a serious dilemma. How to transfer user licenses to another user, due to relationship breakups. My Ex & I bought a bunch of Xbox games for use on my Xbox over the last 5 years. MS has no game use license transfer program in place, so he can't get those games he bought, even if I gave him the console, since they're all under my Microsoft account. If this were the old days, then I'd just pack up his cartridges and send them to him. Can't do that now. It used to be that you glared at each other for an hour separating the record or movie collection and getting the Hell out of there. They even wrote songs about it. Nowadays it's on digital files that usage rights can't be gifted or transferred. One party ends up keeps it all, while the other gets screwed with nothing. Forcing one of them to re-purchase the movies, music, games etc. they bought together. I'm sure it's about agreements between 3rd party publishers & MS, but there should be a way without a company double dipping themselves on past purchases because relationships end. Warner Bros doesn't need to sell that piece of crap Rampage movie a second time. Since Intellivision is the sole publisher of Amico games, can Intellivision look into a way to do game license transfers?
  3. I think I can say, with 90% certainty, that this poster is not an educated business professional, because Jr High School doesn't have business admin classes. Nor is he even a customer of Nintendo's... his parent's are.
  4. I don't think it's SD ether, but physical media is "something really cool, that you'll be surprised with and I can't talk about it now or ever because they won't let me and I'm really not a tease." -TT Or something like that.😂
  5. Yes. And every time you still bring it up, Ross and Joey miss another day of work.
  6. I'm personally glad its more associated with the game these days. Us gay folks hated the epithet when it was a normal insult yelled out by mouth breathing southern rednecks. Beavis/Butthead didn't help either.
  7. Stop playing with cheaters! The 6 counts! No matter where in the house it lands. Even if it bounced off the table & flew into the sink & dropped into the garbage disposal. Get a flashlight & find out where it landed on!
  8. My favorite vid is when the Dad took the Xbox out to the grill, poured lighter fluid on it and set it on fire. 😂
  9. I don't understand where you came to that conclusion. 2K and EA make an entire business out of sports games re-released every year with updated rosters. Those games are so numerous that if you walk into any used/retro game store, you will see shelves upon shelves of them for less than $1 a piece. After a year, Sports games are basically worthless, but they do sell well when new. Far cry from an arcade shooter like MUSHA for Genesis at $300 without the box & instructions, or any TurboGrafx card out there.
  10. My apologies for the failed attempt at drunk joking up there at #3663. It was late and I was loopy. Tried to delete it, but it didn't work.
  11. Further down on the YT thread, he admits he fails to produce the exchange where you "accused him of being a child abuser", but the curly haired one still pulls a Sean Hannity "Wow! You won't hear this on other news sources!" phony outrage face out of his ass.
  12. Grew up in WA state and CA, so guilty as charged, but WA also had a hair metal scene. Def Leppard was also big there. But I have to take issue with Van Halen being included in the "grew up with" scenario of 80s music. They hit their pinnacle in the 80s as contemporaries and have become classic r&r since then... but nowadays so has The Cure, Simple Minds and Duran Duran. And Boston??? 🤔 13 years for a 3rd album? Lazy bums!
  13. Since when is 2 dudes sitting behind their laptops pontificating, entertaining?
  14. Nintendo fanboi gotta fanboy. Don't you get it? Only ONE, UNO, EIN game system should be allowed to be on the market at a time, and they all have to be made by Nintendo.🙄 I mean... why develop your own system, employ hundreds of people, create much needed jobs and choose your own destiny when you can pay Nintendo $16 a game in licensing fees & let them bury your game in shovelware?
  15. Wow! I wasn't sure anybody even heard of Ultravox when I posted that. 🤣 This is sort of like family. Except old farts. 😍 Californian and no room for Oingo Boingo. Not even a hint of Missing Persons! 😥
  16. Not just 70s groups. New Wave band Ultravox signer Midge Ure (He wrote 'Do They Know It's Christmas' for Band Aid) now looks like Captain Picard & Paul Schaffer had a transporter mishap.
  17. I know this is a dream & I hate to burst a bubble here. But Alex Lifeson suffers from arthritis. They had a farewell concert because of it (and Neil had some age related health issues as well), so I'm not sure how well he can still play.
  18. Wasn't there an Intellivision game like that? About a penguin skating & breaking off ice blocks or something?
