  1. Hi @x=usr(1536) - No, but I used to go there as a kid to get my Atari stuff too 😁 We supplied Peats among others and had stores across the city including Switzers, Clearys, Eason and Grafton Arcade - and a business center on Chatham Lane.
  2. I use to sell Atari/Commodore system up until 1992 (official Atari/CBM distributor in Ireland), still used my Mega 1 up until 1994 when a 486 entered the home 😬 (still have my original Mega 1). In 1993 I switched sides and spent almost 7 years at Gateway2000/Gateway pushing PCs in marketing. You can read more about that and an interesting Atari/CBM story at my site here > Atari Explorer
  3. These were sold into some Eastern european dealers as special orders circa 1987. The 4160STF was displayed at the World of Atari show the previous year (1986) but never sold. 2080/4160STE's were shipped to developers in 1989. Atari also provided these name-plates to select dealers who upgraded stock models in some countries.
  4. There was an external ROM plugged into the January 1985 CES ST's (2 x working IIRC) - these were strictly policed and were demo'ed by authorised staff. I have some notes somewhere about these, but if any staffers are still around (Landon?), perhaps you can confirm if these ROM Carts (see picture) were loaded with the pre-internal TOS/GEM for the show? I'll check some old HD's for those CES notes to confirm as I can't remember off the top of my head. 5. @Zeptari - all packed up and ready to go! FYI, all the games you mentioned are reviewed, so you obviously have good taste! Ira Velinsky was Atari Corps head of industrial design (previously worked at CBM) and even designed the Jaguar case, unfortunately he sadly passed away in 2000 far too young. He had his own design studio (SoZo) and even did some work for Sega (on the Nomad). 🙂
  6. FYI, yes I have copies left in stock to answer all the messages in one go 🙂 When they are gone, they are gone though!
  7. FYI - Thank you for all the messages over the holidays. The store is now re-open, and there is a small quantity of We Love Atari books left for sale as well as GameGuide ST and Lynx 🙂
  8. Thank you @MrZarniwoop that means a lot. Have a great Christmas and a super 2024.
  9. I'll be open again on the 8th January 😁 Merry Christmas everyone!
