dude, i have that same basic for beginers book in my room... learn that thing up then, well get some more programming books.. but then you can write your own games. i think you could write a text adventure with the knowledge from that book.

ah yes, crap. my bad. the component have 6 pastel colored pluggy things... would it even be worth it? would the quality in picture and sound change that much between composite and component?

or you could get the component output cables that atari made for the jaguar. it's what i have. i bet that'd be A LOT cheeper than $120.

all i can suggest is to go through the usuall stuff double check all the cables make sure the game is in right since your using RF, hook the jag straight to the TV (not through a cable box or a vcr) make sure the L and H (channel 3 and 4) switch is in one place or another, not in between shake, blown on and wiggle everything (it's more of a superstition but eh..) and if all that fails, you probably have a bad RF cable (note: if you're not actually using an RF cable, then composite video doesn't show up on channel 3 or 4, it's on imput or video 1 or something.)

ohhh... why couldn't they just put 3 and 4?!? i have the AV cable for my jag so i couldn't see any differences when i messed with it.
