  1. I'm looking to part ways with my restored Interact Model 1 machine. I've gone through this over the past few years and replaced the belts in the tape recorder, rebuilt the keyboard with new foam and new plastic pins to connect it to the main unit and replaced the cover on the power adapter box (these always seem to be broken) with an exact duplicate including all the text to make it indistinguishable from an original. The computer is working - I don't have any tapes to include with it but am happy to link you to an archive of tape WAV files so you can access any software you may want. I'll also say upfront that the keyboard is fiddly to use, but in researching it I believe that's just how they were from the factory. I've checked and all the keys do work - they just don't always like to. This also comes with three controllers, one of which seems to have some oddness with the shaft. The other two are perfectly fine, though. If anyone wants just the controller I'm happy to take offers on that. I'm in the US near Washington DC, so local pickup or delivery would be great. I'm also happy to ship anywhere within the US. If anyone is interested feel free to make an offer! Oh, and as far as the photos go goes the picture quality is much better in person. That TV isn't the friendliest with some of these old systems.
  2. A few items have sold. 5150, Plus 4 and Atari printer still available.
  3. TI-99 is spoken for but the rest is still available!
  4. Continuing to clear out some spares I have lying around. Is anyone interested in any of these? I have the box and manual for the Atari 825 around somewhere, I bought it from Best Electronics awhile back and just put it on display, it was NIB then and is effectively still NIB. Here's the deal with the 5150 - it works, and it's got a few cards in it (MDA, CGA, Joystick and Floppy). I was going to sell this as just the computer with the Floppy and MDA cards and keep the rest with plans to buy a Rev A later on, and I may still do that. HOWEVER - I also have the original 5151 monitor, 5152 printer and stand and 5153 CGA monitor. All should work except the CGA monitor, which has a vertical collapse line and needs to be recapped. It also has a broken screw holding the case together that will need to be worked out and replaced. I'm leaning towards keeping everything but the CPU and the two cards I mentioned, but I think if someone made a compelling offer I could let the whole thing go as a single lot. I'd throw in the two manuals I have for it as well if that ends up happening. Willing to ship to the continental USA, or I can deliver in the DC Metro area. Make me an offer if you want any of this!
  5. Also this is now spoken for!
  6. USA, unfortunately, so shipping would be a nightmare.
  7. Can anyone make use of this? I'd like to get a little money but I recognize there's not an enormous amount of value. I've got the top and bottom cabinet parts and the main board, which booted to a blue screen, but the sides, video cable and power supply were given over to a factory new unit with a working board that was never fully assembled. Send me an offer and I'll be happy to work out shipping!
  8. Pulled from a working unit with a smashed case. Everything was working on this when last checked. Is anyone interested? Send me an offer and I'll be happy to ship!
  9. Clearing out a few items in my collection. I've got two spare Apple IIs, one with the original ROMS and the early style keyboard and the other set up as a II plus. Neither completely boot if memory serves. I'm also including a Mountain Computer sound/light pen card which appears to be complete, some paddles and a Franklin branded disk drive. Is anyone interested? I'll package and ship to anywhere in the continental US. PM me for offers!
  10. Okay so I know it looks like I've forgotten about this - I promise I haven't. The machinist I was working with has totally stopped responding. I gave him due time, but I'm moving on. Starting the hunt for a new machinist today. Hopefully this one will turn out better. I'm gonna scrap the custom design and just aim to have it built around the original photos and measurements. With any luck (and some plastic and aluminum) I'll have more info soon. Sorry for the delay on this guys.
  11. Okay so quick update just so everyone is in the know: I tested the 800 and was unfortunately wrong about it working. It's been in pieces for awhile and as I was putting it back together I recalled that one of the parts I had pulled was the 6502 CPU to fix another computer. I believe that's the source of the problem. That being said, right now I've got a tentative claim on it regardless. I'll let you all know if it ends up being available. Monitor is still for sale as well.
  12. 800 was a parts unit that had a destroyed case, but as far as I remember it booted and worked without issue. I can pull a power supply from my stash and test if it you all would like to confirm.
