Some buyers just do not leave feedbacks even though they are fully satisfied with their purchases. Take a look at this buyer. He received 179 feedbacks from sellers and just left 2 feedbacks to them. It''s hard to believe that he is disappointed with 177 transactions that he did not leave the feedback.

Just because the buyer pays quickly doesn't necessarily mean that he is a good buyer. What if the buyer complains that the item is not as described and then returns an empty box or swaps it with his own item? What if the buyer pays with a stolen credit card or files a false chargeback? What if the buyer complains that he has not received the item in one day after paying shipping cost for parcel post or media mail? What if the buyer complains that he has to pay custom taxes after knowing fully well that the item comes from outside his country?

Mark them with invisible ink and take a close up picture of the serial number. Mention the serial number and post the close up picture of the serial number for your future listings. That will deter any scammer from bidding on your items. I always mention the serial number for most electronics I sell.

I don't at all. That's why I have a secondary free checking account that paypal is linked to. I just instantly transfer some money into it when I need to. And that's what everyone who uses Paypal and checking accounts should do Good point but it may not be enough. I have heard people who get negative balance in their paypal account, paypal did not take the money out of their bank account but did threaten to call collection agency. So, you may still get daily harassment from collection agency and possible legal trouble should paypal win the case.

That's why I use a CC account only for payment. Its the only way to keep control of the payment. I will NEVER give ebay/paypal my bank information. They are not to be trusted with such information. But if you don't give them your bank account number, I believe you can only use the money you earn from your eBay sales for eBay purchase only or other websites that accept paypal payment.
