Yep, me! No 5200, 7800, Jaguar, Lynx, Colecovision, NES, ST, Nintendo 64 etc etc. For me, if I have never played them when I was a kid, then there is no point in collecting them. The only other vintage game that I am trying to collect is Nintendo Game and Watch, as I played with it when I was a kid. For modern gaming, I limit myself to PC. No XBox, Playstation or GameCube. I wish I can keep up with modern gaming, but I just don't have the time to keep changing my hardware to keep up with the latest technology. The last time I played a PC game was 5 years ago.

Yep, but not with Ebay. I bought a $150 FPGA board directly from the vendor. I have never received it. The vendor gave me the DC number which clearly stated that the item has been delivered to my zip code. The vendor refused to refund my money. I had to swallow the lost

Pretty much the end of the Personal PayPal account
Hendra replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
Actually, it's a good idea. I prefer to shop by credit card. By forcing sellers to have Premier Account, I can always use my credit card to pay, unless of course, the sellers do not accept paypal payment at all. -
How come there are very few discussions on Nintendo Game and Watch at this forum? Game and Watch was first released at the early 80's, around the same time when Atari 2600 became popular. So, I would assume people who collect the 2600 would also collect Game and Watch. There seems to be a lot more discussions on GameBoy, but GameBoy was first released at the early 90's, which is about the same time when the 2600 finally reached the end of its popularity.

CIB SEALED? I want sealed one since that's the only way to guarantee (or almost guarantee) that the thing inside has never been used.
-
Do the package explicitly say the value of the items?
-
What is the maximum value of merchandise that you can buy from overseas and send it to the US without having to pay custom taxes? If I do have to pay the taxes, how much would that be?
-
Actually, most of the time that's not true due to proxy bidding. The winning bidder may bid at $100 and if the one below him bid at $30, the final bid would still be $30.50 or whatever the bid increment is determined by Ebay for $30 item.

Got mine for one sixth of the price . Same seller, same item . Patience paid off

My auctions ending soon. Still in good price. Bid now if you are interested

Almost every Atari product that I have seen has serial number with it. Atari Catalog, for example has serial number like CO16725. Does it have any type of serial number like that? If it has, may be you can google it.

This guy always win all the high priced auctions: Stronghold $375. Crazy Climber $500. Ikari Warriors $560. MotoRodeo $600. Swordquest: Waterworld $560.

One is pooly packaged, the other is very well packaged. Both have problem with the motors. One just quit playing after half a second playback, the other doesn't even eject the tray. I guess the carrier must be very rough in handling the package and thus causing damage to the moving parts inside.
-
Which carrier handle their package in the most delicate way? I have ordered 2 Laser Disc players from 2 different sellers using UPS and USPS and both of them DOA. **&^%$#@!!&^(*!!! They must have handled all their packages like animal or something! Is FedEx any better? How about DHL?

I don't want to rip on this guy too much...
Hendra replied to RickHarrisMaine's topic in Auction Central
It was taken on the living room of my house and it was on the dinner table, not the floor. We have a lot of people living in my house so seeing ant on the dinner table is not a surprise. I should have killed the ant before taking pictures. Rest assured, the patch is clean and it is now stored in my bed room. No ant here. Thanks for asking -

I wish everybody in Ebay has listing with pictures as big as I have. -
How much would you be willing to pay for Combat II CIB? I mean they only made 250 of these. Does it automatically make this cart more valuable and more sought after than say Magicard, which I believe only 500 were made? BTW, there is no way that I am going to pay that much for a single cart. The most I would pay is one tenth of his BIN price. I should have bid earlier as the seller did not have reserved price until a few days after he started his listing.

I've just killed the BIN I want this game. However, I won't pay $50 but I don't want to let it go either. That's why I killed the BIN

I am talking about creating a bookmark in my AA homepage itself, without using IE favorites or Netscape bookmarks. That way, I can see and use my bookmark from any computer in the world, without having to recreate the bookmark each time I use a different computer. I know I can just send a PM to myself to do what I want, but I am just wondering if there is an elegant way to do it.
