  1. Although it's getting tougher (and more expensive) to find, you can't beat the fun of Tapper, my all-time favorite Atari game.
  2. Thanks a ton Tim! It's very cool that you run a contest like this. The "And for the record, it's not Adventure, too" is what made me think it was Venture 2. I was scrolling & reading the guesses & thought Secret Quest would get it on his second try. I didn't even notice it was you who was running the contest until after I made my guess, or I probably would've broken a finger trying to hurry up & type my answer in. Thanks again!
  3. I don't have a problem with anything Sylentwulf did. It's borderline unethical, but he pulled a good business move. But, deleting the original topic on digitpress to cover his tracks is pretty cheap. If you brag, deal with the consequences.
  4. I'm looking for the box and/or manual for the game Tapper. I love that game!
  5. Junie, I think you should try to run a contest like the Gunfight one going on right now when you need a label design. Why settle for one design when you can have 23 to choose from?
  6. Not to turn this thread into a critque, but I think you have to consider what will look good in a 2.75 X 3.5 size. Just because a label looks cool on a 19 inch monitor doesn't mean it will when shrunken down. Too much detail can be bad when working small. For that reason, I cast my vote for Dave G. and Jay Prince I think both labels have very crisp images & design that stand out from the pack. I wish I had half the talent all these artists that submitted labels do.
  7. Thanks for all your help guys! I think I'll go with the Atari 2600 Jr. (since it seems to sell a bit cheaper on Ebay), and a loose Bond (although there aren't any up on Ebay right now). Since I plan on just ripping it open, I'll leave the sealed copy for a collector who'll keep that way.
  8. I'm fairly new to collecting Atari games & just found this web site. I have a couple of questions: Which system is the better choice: 2600 or 7800? Also, I was wondering what would be a good price to pay for THIS AUCTION on Ebay. The rarity is 6, so it's pretty scarce. It was one of my favorite games back in the early '80s and was curious if there was a big premium on packaged games. I plan to just open it up, so would I be better off buying it loose? Thanks for your help!
