  1. I actually had that exact set always meant to buy more but never did it was a ton of fun though busting down the defenses lol
  2. I don’t foresee them IE having issues showing that very message I think people forget the excellent marketing people they have on the team which is understandable since marketing hasn’t kicked off yet but with the team members we know about and their past projects I have a feeling their message to the general public will be well thought out, well delivered, and on point
  3. So it had been so long since I played NES baseball games I mixed up two in my mind Base Wars where the players are different kinds of robots and when you get into a close call the robots fight to see which way they call goes I remember really enjoying that game though I probably lost a lot as my brother has always been much better at sports games than me. And Baseball Simulator 1000 where you had power up moves you could do while pitching and batting who knows maybe Intellivision could mix elements of both those games into an original title I just remember having a blast with both. My brother loved to play the college football game but in order for our games to be close I had to pick a team with mostly A&B grades and he would pick a team with C&Ds one game I remember it was a 6 point game he was in the lead and there was Maybe 10 seconds left he ran the ball there was a fumble I ran back for a touchdown to win the game. He got so made the next game he chose a team with A&Bs and ended up winning 92-14 I don’t remember if we ever played together after that lol
  4. I’m excited for baseball too been a long time since I’ve played a baseball game last one was on the PS1 I think. I’m kind of hoping along with regular baseball we might see a return of was it Baseball Simulator 3000 where the players were robots and you had power ups you could use I remember having a ton of fun playing that on NES. As for games I’m excited for there are several Nightstalker because I’m a huge horror fan and it’s as close to a horror theme game as we are bound to get and Horse Racing, Snafoo, Shark! Shark! all because I have memories of playing for hours against family with those games in my childhood
  5. The difference being XBox, and PlayStation have been out for 7 years and Switch for 4 years they didn’t come to market at $250 when they launched. Also with next generation of consoles coming out soon unless they both delay to next year after supplies get up closer to normal again those new systems will also go up in price current estimates I believe have new systems at $500 minimum. So if we are going to compare prices of consoles let’s be fair about it $500 for Xbox or PS5, $300 for Switch (going by Animal Crossing Version) where first party titles are full price no matter if you buy a physical or a digital version or a system that at minimum is half the price of two of the consoles and $50 cheaper than the 3rd plus digital games are a minimum of $50 cheaper per first party title. No other systems come with two full controllers and none to my knowledge come with games unless you buy some special package meanwhile Intellivision gives you two controllers and six games right out of the box. Let’s also not forget that if it wasn’t for a pandemic shutting down factories and causing supplies to be scarce Intellivision wouldn’t be selling at $250 either. This isn’t some corporation upping the price just to increase profits but a consumer first company who was forced to up their price more than they wanted due to a situation they had no control over. Besides that name another video game company that is willing to say look we had to raise the price due to this pandemic but we didn’t want to do that and to help offset that raise in price and keep value with our customers we are going to give you another free game with the system so you will now get 6 instead of 5. I feel like most people on the fence about the price if given some of this information would probably agree that the value is still squarely in Intellivision’s corner.
  6. It’s the card you got in the mail when you bought stuff from their store it will give access to exclusive giveaways and such
  7. Clearly true after all in the comments they are agreeing with people about Ouya vibes for this and that just comes from a lack of doing any research
  8. I watched most of it and left a response I think Retro Advisory would be proud of lol
  9. The way I understand it each Amico in order to purchase games online will have to be tied to its own main account. That account and all games linked to it can be moved to a new console should the old one break but two consoles can’t be signed to the same main account at the same time. If I’m understanding correctly your controller can rfid to another system and give access to your games on the main system until you tap said controller to its main unit again. that means for the 2 console situation you described you would either need the second console in a significant others name or maybe in your name but linked to a different form of payment (the same name different payment method is speculation as I have not seen that asked)
  10. How about a hat that says Intellivision Baseball on the front with the running man to one side then on the back of the cap it says Yer Out How about a Night Stalker Shirt with an evolution of the robots from original to modern game My lack of sleep is catching up with me lol that’s all I’ve got
  11. Thank goodness for that t I ended up on a long phone call & missed it so I was hoping it’s be on YouTube
  12. Oh look it’s James C I was wondering when his Ill informed self would show back up
  13. Speaking of Pong did you guys see this Atari is releasing or at least planning to release Or should I say licensing our Pong to someone who is turning Pong into an RPG which just seems strange I can’t figure out if this will be good but I know I’m not a fan of the art style
  14. Funniest redbox placement I ever saw was when I was in college I think it was right outside a pizza joint which makes total sense but the guys put it in the path of the automatic sprinkler so if you went the wrong time of day they thing didn’t function because it was wet lol
  15. If you look at a picture of Amico not only is the button visible but you just push the running man on the front center of the console and it’s on
  16. Controllers will be between $40-50 there was talk about a family pack that would include a charge base so far those haven’t gone up for preorder
  17. I’m just sticking with a founders but I helped a friend I’ve been talking with about Amico order one
  18. Yes multiple unlockable track and each track has its own traps
  19. He did say that yes but yesterday on his interview with OEB Pete he said that today they would announce 5 of the 6 pack in games so sounds like they decided on a number of games to help offset rising costs of the machine
  20. I’m hoping there is an Easter egg where if you say or do something when turning on the system it will say Hello Commander Computer Reporting like Space Spartans
  21. Maybe but also considering that the mass marketing hasn’t started and right now it’s just game community following it those are probably the two games that draw the least interest now anyway
  22. I think that’s because both of those games are still in very early development
  23. 6th game to be revealed at a later date by interview with Pete
