      Haha, not really. You occasionally get a colony of ants that will be interesting, but for the most part, it's just sand and ants...

      Big critter Keeper myself, almost exclusively inverts-

      I'd actually recommend a Beetle habitat, they can be quite interesting, and safe to interact with as well.

      Also, most Beetles don't mind to live together, so you can have a nice variety-like almost everything else, there are "exotic" species, Blue Feigning Death beetles(they play dead), etc, and it can be a neat hobby.

      For weird pet fun, tho, nothing beats a Tarantula...

      @atari2600land - Hehe, I used to get inverts from a Guy named Peter Clausen, he would do shows at elementary schools and stuff.

      He could only use a set of feigning death beetles for a short while, they get used to people and stop playing dead after a while, kinda takes away the whole point...
