I find it rather neat that the Wii U Gamepad can function as a TV remote. Sure as hell works a lot better than my original old-ass Toshiba remote!

  It's somewhat a pain in the rear to set up, because every TV uses a different protocol to interact with the remote or something. It prompts you to select your TV manufacturer (in my case, Toshiba) and you need to cycle through each of the options (I had 54) and manually test which one worked with my TV. However, once you have it all set up, it's really cool to use.
